So why are you filling it up?
If you fill the rad and the overflow bottle, where do you expect it to overflow to?
i ve sorted mine as it turned out to be the HG ,even though we used seallent but still had a problem.
we pressure checked the rad and pressure raised as soon as engine started to turn over rather than after worm up, which is very weird. my tuner confirm its deffo HG, so i orderd a new 1 in(cruise).
I havent changed the gasket yet, i will keep you updated

well we have a new rad on the way so will see how that gets on! pretty sure the one in there is dying. im pretty scared of it being the head gasket again.
yeh it was ok but now the temps creep a lil bit to 90 but ive heard thats an ok temp anyway? but the other day noticed the water had lil bits in it? off the rad maybe?
also the expansion tank threw some water out, hopefully coz it needs to find its 'own level' to keep round the engine i think we put too much in there. i hope!

I had the exact same problem with the coolant overflowing the coolant bottle. One day infact in the fast lane of a 3 lane motorway the coolant bottle cap blew off and steam poured from it. This was on a CT9 with a stock rad.
My car done this EVERYTIME it was driven hard or on a rolling road. I replaced all the following parts in the coolant system:
2x Thermostats
1x Thermostatic Switch
1x Radiator
3x Radiator Caps
1x Water pump
I bought 2 brand new rad caps from Toyota and both didnt hold the preasure, fitted a Honda Integra cap and it preasurised the coolant system but it still was filling up 500ml bottles of coke with coolant but it did kinda stop abit for a while with the Honda cap. Mine is still at ToyTuning and is nearly finished, so ill let you know if i still got the same problem after my rebuild.
