its not really about speed mate, an intercooler just helps reduce intake temps and makes the turbo run more efficiently. it wont really give you any noticeable power increase on its own, to take full advantage of it you should run some other mods alongside it that will allow you to increase boost safely

Coupled with the gangsta lean (25hp)

If you can lean past the a pillar that's an extra 25hp too.

And then 5 ebay super chips at 25hp each... It will be a rocket!

Nah an intercooler does give a little bit more oomph I found. But not a lot!

if you have a basic knwledge of it id say, around 30 mins removing stuff. as said test fit so you kno what goes where, an then it should take around an hour too get it hooked up. i used some ptf tape around the pipes too help it seal.

An intercooler does not give you power, boost does. Its only when you fit a bigger IC, you can increase boost cos the IC can lower the temp better than normal. If your running 10 psi and fit the IC, your not going to get 10HP or more, you may infact get less power. You get power by the increased boost. Do you understand now.


patience and mechanical knowledge will allow you to install a IC. If you have non whatsoever, dont even bother as you may infact wreck your car.

one more thing WHY are for example a hks fmic so exspensive?? i got a price of nearly a 1,000euro

Bollocks.

A 7 degree Celcius drop in intake temps gives a 1% bhp power increase. Thats been proven and is well known in tuning circles.

Buts thats obviously not where you have spent much time.
