As people have said the older users are still around, I've been here for five years but don't post that frequently. No matter what anyone says about tgtt, the knowledge base on here is fantastic. Some of the newer younger guys don't have starlets for the same reasons we had them but I firmly believe the enthusiasts will still be around in another five years to come!! And welcome back golden! I remember following your members car thread very closely!

The forums a bit quieter, but what I notice is the older members tend to post little but do post helpful posts ie links to FAQs, rather than entire new threads appearing.

There is a huge amount of information on the forum, and vast amount of knowledge on hand with the older/experienced members.

At the moment there is not much new stuff happening, or builds etc, more breakers than anything. But i'm sure it will pick up again. For me i'm just trying to keep my Glanza up and running, and tidying up parts etc, fuel and mot costs are making things a little more tricky.

Some may remember i use to religiously post on this forum a few years back, but having recently started browsing again)(now im using my GT again) all i see is chavs posting idiotic things.

although its quite surprising that there are so many td04 setups now lol, i remember being amongst the first all them years ago.

its good too see alot more tunning going on, but it seems the starlet has become so accessable in the UK its losts its wow factor on here. there was a thread a few years back asking "are starlet the next renault 5, rs turbo etc" this now seems to be the case.

im just glad that mine still stands out from the rest of the shitters i see now out and about, in both looks and spec :p

just a little rant
i think u should come over to ireland and have a look at the starlets over here bud, there not very much renault 5, or rs turbos around because there all shit boxes and are not next to the starlet over here, and the chaps u see in there shitters likely dont have a clue but am sure the still love there car, am glad yours stands out from the shitters.

90% of Starlets in Ireland are dogged shitters at this stage. To see a Renault 5 or RS turbo would be a breath of fresh air compared to the scrap you see driving balls out through town centers every night.

i have a mate building a renault 5 at the min, its the only fresh one i ever saw but the are not as reliable as a starlet, any starlets that are around my area are in the best of nik including my own one that has 65000km on it and i have all the jap history to prove it.
