tbh matey, danes is proven on track, ricky if im right has been on track onc last year??????
o if tracking and dragging danes will most likely be better for peace of mind as you wont do anymore performance mods to it.
as with rickys u be thinking should i go td05 and so on.......
if ur showing it off at shows then ricky's, if a track slag by definition then danes matey.
can always ask dane 4 a test drive or something to see if that helps your decision.
well seeing as mine hasnt seen as much hard work/abuse then mine clearly wins it
but no in all seriousness i personally dont feel you have given a great argument either way, and imo i dont think thee is anargument, they are completely different.
just because mine hasnt been on track loads doesnt mean it cant last the pace (more to the point i havnt had time or money to track it this past year), with a simple and not overly expensive levin brake upgrade on mine it will more than last the pace on track, the bloke who built my engine ensured that by building a very good engine for me, how many engine builders do you know that insist on re balancing the forged pistons and rods so they are within 0.5g of each other instead of the 1g there supposed to be, and also insists on deburing the rods etc, and enlarge the holes in the bearings slightly (when they dont quite line up with the oil ways perfectly) so that you get maximum oil flow from block to bearing.
also the td04 aint that bad on track, round rockingham i was struggling out some of the corners cos of traction with my lowly rubbish td04,
any hoo as has been mention there to different to make a decision without seeing them,
