Dane . the fact that i said "if it is to late it won’t be a nice car to drive on the road" and you have gone off on one like that tells me its to late. and in your own words " i lived with it perfectly" means that it wasnt ideal but you lived with it. what rpm it kick in?

hardly say he went off on one?? think your reading it wrongly.

he is just explaining his opionon on the case. doesnt seem angry or annoyed in any way.

as Dane has said, driving a car with a bigger turbo and "lag" isnt bad. my 200sx had a bigger turbo and you just learn to drive slightly different.

Cheers Malcom, you have read exactly what i was trying to put across. In no way was i trying to ''go off on one''. Not gonna waste my time trying to jusity myself to him.

tbh matey, danes is proven on track, ricky if im right has been on track onc last year??????

o if tracking and dragging danes will most likely be better for peace of mind as you wont do anymore performance mods to it.
as with rickys u be thinking should i go td05 and so on.......

if ur showing it off at shows then ricky's, if a track slag by definition then danes matey.
can always ask dane 4 a test drive or something to see if that helps your decision.

Have you been to see both cars in the flesh? Not sure where the cars or you are based, might be a trek but it might help your decision seeing them both and maybe getting a spin in them.

Both mental cars, tough decision to make, but fuck are you lucky getting to make that decision :haha:

well seeing as mine hasnt seen as much hard work/abuse then mine clearly wins it :p

but no in all seriousness i personally dont feel you have given a great argument either way, and imo i dont think thee is anargument, they are completely different.

just because mine hasnt been on track loads doesnt mean it cant last the pace (more to the point i havnt had time or money to track it this past year), with a simple and not overly expensive levin brake upgrade on mine it will more than last the pace on track, the bloke who built my engine ensured that by building a very good engine for me, how many engine builders do you know that insist on re balancing the forged pistons and rods so they are within 0.5g of each other instead of the 1g there supposed to be, and also insists on deburing the rods etc, and enlarge the holes in the bearings slightly (when they dont quite line up with the oil ways perfectly) so that you get maximum oil flow from block to bearing.

also the td04 aint that bad on track, round rockingham i was struggling out some of the corners cos of traction with my lowly rubbish td04,

any hoo as has been mention there to different to make a decision without seeing them,

they are both awesome cars and a credit to both you guys, clearly alot of hard work has gone into the development of them!!

I think you need to test drive both go and have a look at them and see what you think is best and then go from there/.
