I did watch a bit of it, not to watch the big happy wedding - but to check out the females. Kates sister is a fittie, and the couple were a miserable pair. Let's hope they have more fun when they consummate. I'd hate all those arseholes attending my wedding. What makes it even more ironic, David Cameron had the same suit on which he wears in the houses of parliament

The only royal affair I'll watch is the funerals. Everyone goes on about the money they bring to the UK but the people visit for the palace and history. Chop their heads off and stick them on spikes outside Buckingham Palace and you'll get shit loads of tourists to see it, and they will continue to visit what used to be the Royal home.

I reiterate, the government did not pay £6billion in cash, according to that article in REAL terms it cost £10 million, brought an extra £607million in this weekend and will generate £2 billion of foreign cash into our economy over the next 4 years.

The term 'cost' is completely subjective, especially in the manner you are using it.

'lost productivity' is an example of this and as for overtime, the majority of the country are employees so I'm sure non of them mind the overtime

i just want to say , we all know she was a "commoner" but i think she lived within the same class as the royals. They met in St. Andrews and i believe it costs around £20 k a year!!

Prince William was a commoner too, as he didn't hold a peerage. Anyone without a peerage is a commoner, regardless of the money you have or who you associate with. I'm not sure if the marraige gives him a peerage, but I doubt it, but being Prince isn't a peerage so he is technically a commoner.
