Wobbly & unsafe steering - help

ok, ur coming round mine, and u can take me for a spin, and maybe i'll have a little drive, see if i can sus it out, it's a bit hard when i'm not there.

erm, say about 7ish provisionally if that ok?

if i can do earlier i'll let u know mate, just i in colchester for the weekend, and i will coming back sunday evening

just a thought mate, are your wheel nuts done up?

just i know some people have almost had there wheels nicked and the wheel bolts have been left lose and this can cause the same sort of thing

on my ep82 the steering starts to wobble left and right when i do 60 or even 50 on the ring road.....what could it be?:confused:

On high speeds- above 60, my car feels very light and twitchy, me no like that:p


Any tips guys? Im getting an anti lift and tracking down this month.

I have trd shocks and springs which are pretty hard

mine to! fell well sketchy when u hit a bump to only got tein springs and anti lift plates

Have you had your wheels aligned recently mate? would start there & if there ok..... well....thats what im trying to find out too lol :p

nobody in leeds would balance my wheels.....seems they dont know how to take the centre caps off....one guy tried but left the centre cap spinning and it carrys on spinning when driving:(

i think you need to spend a day figuring how to take them off mate, as lord knows you need to take them off 1 day

i will look atyour suspension and check your wheels nuts for you,
then as there will be plenty of us there a the meet i am sure,
we can locate the problem and sus out a remedy for you.
and i am always happy to help you or durmz as know ur local to me kinda.lol
by the way, is there a knocking sound mate when driving?

Turns out theres not really anything wrong with the steering on mine, all seems normal, must be me just worrying about it too much & getting pissed off with how shakey it is :homer:

Still think i need to get some handling mods on her to stiffen it up a tad......

hmm

cobra springs arent really much kop to be fair, so this wouldnt really help matters mate.

i can recomend a rear anti roll bar though, you'll be amazed at the differece it makes.
