Indeed Idrees, thats what i have heard, i just heard an importer in Keighly was one to stay clear of.

As my mate bought one from there and the rear axle was fucked, this was a few years back mind...

was there not talk recently about these two organisations being merged or something? keighly and wrc? or was that another one of those weird dreams I keep having :) - I am actually being serious I dont remember if I read that on here or not.

Super Mod (極度の調整器)
"WRC-Sales are proud to announce the acquisition of Torque of Keighley

This move has allowed us to expand our car stock significantly in order to meet the needs and requirements of our customers. The take-over of Torque of Keighley, has enabled us to gain competitive advantage within the West Yorkshire region.

In our next venture we are looking at the possibility of acquiring a purpose built showroom"

Worryingly, Torque were owned by Keighley, so don't know what's going on there...

I had a bad experience with WRC. and the only reason i post whenever somone mentions them is that i dont want somone else to go there and have the same experience as me.

But the Move to merge WRC and keighley should speak volumes to everyone.

I would stay away..

Hi,

I dont know much about them but been there once, nice cars and nice place :). They took over a place named "Torque of Keighley" who are based in Keighley, however "Keighley trade centre" is another car garage in Keighley thats actually been thee for ages as far as I know.

End of the day though, I believe, you like a car, you go see it, fully check it out and if its right you get it lol. Not like all garages make their own cars so you can judge by the name of the place. Now if they give bad customer service then thats another issue.

my experience was that i phoned up about a car they had, was told over the phone ''Its mint, its mint mate, its really mint bruv'' on more than one occasion. so i decided to take the 4 hour drive there.. They didnt tell me about the scratches on the wings, scuffed bumper, broken chassis welds, where it had obviously been involved in a crash. when i asked for a paperclip to do a diagnostics i was asked by the guy who owned it..''whats a diagnostics check, how do you do it''.
From then i knew that if you own an import company you should know how to perform a diagnostics check.
Then had alot around some of there other motors, which included an mr2 turbo, which had n/a clocks in it,(instead of boost gauge they have volt meter) when asked about it we were told ' your wrong, this is how it came from the factory''..obviously another car that had been fettled with...
All in all not a trip that really inspires confidence...

Hi mate,

Fair enough, I wouldnt be right happy too, but again I wouldnt really trust even a private seller over the phone, because end of day no one is going to say anything bad about their car really, ya get me. If it looks nice on pics, just go see it and evaluate it for yourself ;)

Urm...anyone that in the right mind should do a diagnostics check..If you dont know, it displays any errors that the ecu picks up...The fact that the people there didnt even know what a diag. check was makes me severly doubt their judgement when buying cars.

Surely your talking about the ones that arent bent then?..........

cole you asked him for his experience and he gave it to you. If you have got some good experiences to back up your claim above "wrc sales is top class they have some sick cars" then post them up. Did you get your Glanza from there?

To put it into perspective..i bought my latest car from Mark on here. I phoned him up and asked if there were any marks on the car. he told me that there was 2 minor pin dents, and even went out of his way to photograph them.. That is an honest seller.the kind of seller i think we would all want importing and selling cars...right??
I would have been far happier if when i phoned up WRC and asked i was told straight that there were marks on the car, than to have been lied to.
