Not a bad game! Personally dont think its anywhere near close to GT5. Been hitting prologue pretty hard and its more realistic and ultimately harder to drift. I'd say Grid was the best car driving game ive played for drifting, until GT5 prologue was launched.

I bought one from ebay for a N/A model. Same fitment. And works fine plus came with rad cap etc! Oh and half the price! Otherwise get a Civic Alu half size rad. Ebay again usually find em on there.

Sounds like a boost leak. Had one not so long ago and was idling around 2000rpm. The BOV was mullered on mine. If you have a boost leak it will make a wicked whine through the leak as its sucking in air. You can cover the boost pipes with fairy liquid and check for bubbles in splits,holes or...

From experience, you are best off removing as much as possible to gain the best access for fiddly bolts/pipes etc... Remove the front end of the car, bonnet and as many ancillaries as possible and go at it that way.

Remove the standard BOV and the two pipes, get the breather filter as you said for the rocker cover hole, and remove and block off the other pipe coming from other side of the BOV.

You should be able to just block it off. Are you not going to fit an aftemarket valve?

You may also have a boost leak. Common reason for high idle. Check all boost pipes, Intercooler pipes, dump valve etc. Do you hear a high pitched whine from anywhere in the engine compartment? A faulty ICV will make it erratic, but i doubt it would create high idle really. Worth cleaning it...
