Hey, so as some may know from a recent thread I rebuilt a standard engine,its causing a headache.... it doesnt like to start unless I drop fuel directly into the chamber, once it starts it idles at 3000rpm and if I touch the throttle it chokes and cuts out, it is also down a cylinder Any ideas?

So last night was driving and my car started to sound like a bag of nails, I believe its my big end bearings, I thought I could just drop out the sump and replace the bearings but ive been told I need a whole new bottom end rebuild, reground crank etc or just get a 2nd hand bottom end So...

So on 26th @ 10pm I park my car outside my house, went to sleep for a few hours and then up for work at 3am, went to get into the car and noticed half my wind deflector lying on my bonnet so had a quick look and just thought someone had snapped it and maybe had a problem with me so didnt worry...

So basically as above, the threaded hole in the engines block for the oil feed, well I have rung the threads inside the hole so the banjo bolt for my oil feed wont tighten and when I tighten it a little and start the car all the oil just pisses out the hole as its not a tight seal to withstand...

So I think I may have found the problem of my forever leaking oil line, how many copper washers should there be were the oil feed bolts onto the block, should there be a copper washer on both sides of the oil feed, so 2 washers, my feed only has one washer

So turns out I realy am daft as fxxk.. I dont know alot about fuel cut defenders and crap like that, so I noticed theres a red and green light on it, I assumed if power is going to it and it worked it would always have a green light and if something was wrong it would have a red light...

maybe someone on here will know the reason for this because i dont i have an apexi boost gauage and if i plant the right foot it has only ever read 0.5bar on hi or low boost so the other day i was in 6th gear and i figured if i roll along at around 40mph and plant the foot to the floor...
