are the clutches bent? i know that with when clutch is bent you cant shift any gears or its very hard...

I would definetly re check your clutch fork as iv seen some bent before causing the clutch to stay engaged after they had fitted several clutches thinking it was the clutch, when the fork was very slightly bent. Iv been using CAP clutch since first heard of them well over a year & had no problems with it

2 Clutches with a near identical prob to me would lead me to look at other areas of the car.

But I'm not a mechanic, just seems to make sense to me.

What was up with your original clutch before you replaced it with any of the CAP clutches, just asking so we can help you to find the solution to the clutch problem.

right clutch back out and the puks are worn uneven which doesnt suprise me as the friction plate looked bent anyway

original clutch started to slip due to wear

Right update....

now skimmed flywheel, clutch fork, fork pivot, master cylinder, slave cylinder, hydraulic line. There is nothing else left in the system to be at fault now

After fitting first clutch kit back in again it still 'drags' and struggles to select gears. I can feel it juddering very slightly when in gear with clutch pressed down. Cannot select reverse at all

Used lever to push fork fully over until it touches gearbox casing and still 'drags'

Rated for 265lb/ft of torque so I would imagine so. As the website explains, clutch rating is more to do with how much torque you plan to run as opposed to BHP. And a hybrid setup shouldn't see anywhere near 265lb/ft - so put simply, yes it should cope well! Coped with my 180lb/ft perfectly.

No problem with mine holding 223bhp

yeah this is the only guy i heard with a prob.. mine is fine till now too.

the thing is that the prob is with two clutches!! or something else is wrong (he said he changed everything) or he got two fucked ones

imo gearbox, the natural law of percentages rules out a case of 2 dodgy clutches as it would be sky high.

Not to mention these cluches have been tried and tested on fairly big power setups and they seem to be holding up! Maybe he is just really, really unlucky! Mines been in for about a year almost, and its all good in the hood!
