I know exactly how you feel beatz im not on the birth certificate and my ex refuse's to put me on it etc and she tells me she don't rely on the money i pay etc as shes living at home rent free on the dole with benefits etc and still affords to go on holiday twice a year.... I can't afford to go on holiday this year and probably wont for the next 17years!.

Exactly the same as my ex, shes a complete bum, claims benefits all day long, gets my CSA money on top of that, she probally earns more than what i bloody do.

@kara - not really looked into this yet, but ill be phoning the CSA later explaining i have no access what so ever to my child. How can you justify paying for a child you dont get to see? I tried a mutal agreement ... big mistake.

@sx - you said it mate, certainly does suck.

Never head into battle without your helmet on ... youll get shot in the head for sure!!!

Sack the CSA off and say you have a mutual signed agreement with childs mother, that was what I did for first year and a half of my daughters life. Untill CSA forced us...

Yeah i wasted crap loads on solicitors etc and got me know where i've seen my kid only a few times since he was born, he's 1 now.... she won't let me see him or have him stay over, though she does send me photos through email but its not the same as being a dad....!

The CSA don't care what you have to say belive me i've tried countless of times with different case workers (never had the same one twice, Strange... Ohh there not in today?) do you end up explaing the same thing everytime you call and get fobbed off.

I told them my rents going up etc so how do you expect me to aford to pay this amount of CSA when i got bills/rent to pay and my ex doesnt? they tell me they don't take in to account ur bills etc anymore...! lol the csa will never cease to amaze me.

The CSA forced you to go through them even though you had a mutual agreement?

Thing is though your ex should be proud that your a proud dad and want something to do with your kid, they aint many dads out there that do!

Send her legal documents, know you will have to go through solicitors, but she WILL have to respond.

First thing i looked for was the section asking me for my outgoings, even my dad couldnt believe they dont ask for this information. They simply dont give a dam!

My son is 1 years old on March 11th and ive saw him a handful of times. Not seen him in over 8 months probally. She even tried to hide the birth from me and keep it a secret, stupid cow.

There is absolutely no rights for fathers so it seems ... seems like they get away with this everytime.

There quick enough to slam fathers who dont want anything to do with there children and take on there responsibilitys but what about the ones that do want to see there child and take on there responsibilitys!

I didn't want to, argument with the ex lead to CSA getting involved, also some other personal stuff I had with social services - CSA had to get involved.

Its easy for my ex to go and seek legal information, because shes on the benefits they pay for a solicitor for her but yet im not entitled to legal aid because i live with my dad ... lol

As you said stu, same old UK.
