Cusco lower arm bars

mine was stupidly low on the RS*R Springs...so much so that I managed to produce a loud "thunk" as the bar smashed the cranium of a pheasant that had ALREADY been run over...so not a particularly tall item. It also scraped on those big Speed Island things (like square speed bumps on each side of the road), not to mention on normal speed bumps. It's fine now as I've put the coilovers as high as I could put them

Maybe it happened b4 it was fitted? Or even just stonechips on it? (like my old gt had?!)

They may rub on a few systems but it's all dependant on how big your wheels are and how low your car sits. 14's on coilovers (low) will rub the ground more than the exhaust but there quiet sturdy despite there light weight (speaking from experience)..

I had a Whiteline one but I couldn't fit it due to the exhaust being too low. That didn't seem to go anywhere near as low as the Cusco one in the photo.

As above. Has anyone fitted one? Do they make much of a difference to handling? Should they be fitted in pairs? I'm asking coz I've found em pretty cheap and am thinking about upgrading my handling.

Cheers guys. Hutch.

get one. or a 4 point rear strut if you can find one. it does help handling considerably.

Don't be alarmed..

A handy feature of this new forum is that rather than scream 'do a search!' at repeated questions, we can merge the new thread with the old one.

Might be worth using this policy to refresh old threads with any new info that is available?

Got a rear sturt brace on the way. Do the Lower arm bars fit on the front then? Or is it a front or back thing? Would I be better off getting one on the front and one on the back?

PS, sorry Jay, shoulda done a search.

Front. However there is also a four point version which bolts up to 4 points instead of just 2. Its not just cusco that make the lower arms either.

Front lower - it goes between the wishbones. Just look at the pictures up the thread a bit and you can clearly see. And a relationship built on white lies might crumble in later life..

I've found em for £46.61, thought that was a good price. Is it? You reckon just the front then? I take it having a rear strut brace will improve things enough?
