there is an extra bit on the non-police copy that get signed by the station to say you have produced and that gets signed by the officer at the desk. as you probly know when you get a producer you have 7days to do so, and i havnt been able to as i didnt have the correct ticket to produce too. (i littrially went in there with everything and the guy at the counter said theres nothing he can do without the correct section of the ticket)

no word of a lie this exact same thing happened to me on feb 11th. so i have just had the letter come through as i went to police station as i was so pissed off as at the time i had no job. and i said no so and said i was taking them 2 coart.


think im just gonna bite the bullet as there was 4 police officers in the car and they have all given statements. now they have even mentioned that they saw me for roughly 30 seconds there parked up.

i only let my girlfriend out to go to the bank and bam they were up my arse.

bit weird as your in same position and same time.

n e way im thinking even as they have writen down that i was there merely 30 seconds im guessing as they have writen that they know there gonna get out of it and bend me over.

im just gonna take em as i donbt wanna take the coart costs 2.

Shouldn't have been there at all, I've noticed that most people who are bitter at the police are the people who have been caught. Before you say it, yes it's only a minor offence, that's why you are given a minor punishment.

its the whole attitude of the police. most are on massive power trips and it winds me up as droping someone off is not a hazard. plus there were road works in front of the lights which meant you had to drive onto the other side of the road to get round them which renders me not being a hasard as drivers would need to go round anyway. plus if anyone mentions that it could cause a pedestrian not to see oncoming traffic well thats just rubish. starlets are small cars and most are lowered.

i understand that the law is there and police are there to uphold the law but if my car was blatantly parked there i would bite the bullet and think dam i got caught but when its droping someone off while the lights were red and then they went green for merely 20 seconds while i was checking my mirrors so i could pull away and noticed them park up its like what the fuck i was just going to drive off.

I hate to say it, but I cant see how any appeal will help, you were in the wrong and got caught. It may seem harsh, but if they didnt enforce these 'petty laws' then the roads would be a very unorganised and more dangerous place. As dave B said, ignorance of the law is not innocence. You wil haved to swallow it, pay the fine and move on. All of the complaints about catching propper criminals, the Police are there to enforce the law, which is what they are doing. Im sure we have all broken some of these laws at one point or another, but if we are caught it is our own fault.

Best of luck with the mess up on the forms, The police copy would pof had to be signed off within a certain time of the FPN, so maybe by you having it, the form may be null and void.

How will that stop people from doing anything? These punishment are a deterant, if he had been told to move on then nothing would happen and noone would hear about it, give the punishment and everyone gets told and everyone knows that they will give the fines + points.
