i have spent about £2500-3k on mine and it doesnt even show really pissed off and every time i look at it i just see a funace and money being chucked away and burnt.

put yourself in my shoes: around £4500 of the £11,000 (i'll get the actual figure out soon)...has been spent on REPAIRING my car....so if I were not stubborn and had the 4efte transplant carried out in the first place, I'd be £4500 richer :(

well as long as you enjoy it. i dont care how much i spend. i earn the money and it aint doing no good just sitting there.
spent it while im young!

I'm the same as you lol.

Bought the car for 2500 last may, probably spent over a grand on it since then and love every minute of it, its done 90000 miles now and theres still no smoke etc... I love this car :D

My SR Glanza Replica is coming near to £1200! ;)

Still more to come, I think it'll stand me about £2k when done which is excluding new rims

I'm in a similar position to you, I paid £4400 for the car then had to spend another £2000 in repairs straight away, then another £2000 getting the cylinder head replaced aswell as other bits, then £1500 on a new turbo (standard one, my Dad gave the go ahead on this before I had the chance to say hybr...) due to the garage doing a dodgy job fitting the cylinder head and I'm still in legal action trying to get the money back for that.

So thats almost £10,000 before the cost of any mods are added, with not a lot to show for it!:homer:

Woah! I didn't even realise I'd spent quite that much.:(

Damn dude, rotten luck there, and I thought I had it bad!

Well after updating my Excel Spreadsheet, seems like my current expenses to date are: £12,604.96..and the car cost £3250. And all this money comes from Student Loan and Selling stuff
