I still have heard nothing yet, and im not getting a solicitor involved now. Im just gona go to court explain the situation and just be genuine.

If it results in a ban then what can i do, i'll serve the time and get on with it. To be honest its been ages since then, it hasnt been on my mind for a while.

That's mega unlucky dude, feel for ya. When I got busted for speeding the cop actually told me his Crimbo bonus was due, so he had to catch as many people speeding as possible for this, usual situation where the only accident is been being there at the wrong time.

You might want to invest in the new Road Angel so keep yourself on the ball, Im going to get one of these as i'm fed up of laser traps (they tend to hide over here and do it in the pitch black like vampires) that you cant see, it can also be setup to warn you when you are over the limit.

Not becuase im a speed demon lol.

That seriously bad luck! Gutted for you. Hope fully they wont take you licence. I couldnt live with driving a car. Fingercross and think positive.

I know that sounds like a good idea mate and maybe thinking that the judge will see you as being genuine obviously defending yourself but you may actually be doing yourself no favours at all by doing that.

update: Went To Court Today


Right,

Went to court and brought one of my employers/relative with me today to also give his part......

I ended up getting

28 day ban
£570 Fine
3 points

So that brings me up to 9 points as instead of the last 3 points which i should have got they banned me for the 28 days.

I am personally chuffed as i was expecting 6-12 months ban, 12 points etc etc....... I am also releived its all over as this has been worrying me for some time and theres nothing worse then problems hanging over the shoulder....

haha at some of the comments!

Yes i will drive ultra carful and cautious, ive got 10 months before the first 3 points are off, so let this be a lesson to me and check for bald tires and generally try and keep to the speed limit especially during workin hours etc........

Yes this will be a long arse 28 days but ive just moved out with freinds and they all drive so they'll give me a hand with shopping trips etc lol
