civic ftw! how many more starlet owners are going to go v-tec?? lol as said, not the best shape! but yeh the sound of vtec is lovely? is it aggressive as iv heard the k20 engine isnt as much as b series?

also was reading in banzai that scorpion exhasut gave the ctr 15bhp and 20nm of torque, and the exhaust exit was not lost. also k20 on throotle bodies would look and sound lovely!

cool car mate enjoy!

i went for the older shape, just bought a 55 plate in grey. test drove both and just felt the older one was more responsive/raw to drive plus the cost saving. i couldn't justify the extra cost of the new one when i felt the old one drove better. each to they're own though. i do agree the new one looks fantastic though.

good luck with it fella.

ps - hopefully get my type r on saturday, can't wait to see if it's as good to drive/as quick as my glanza !

indeed the new one is not as raw.. Honda decided to make it "more useable for day to day driving".. they look nice inside and out but are not that fast.

Hope you enjoy it mate, it wont do you wrong!

"Not that fast!" Its very quick indeed. Ok its has only 1bhp more than the previous type r and is slightly heavier but in fairness 0-60 pretty much the same. I think the FN2 is a better looking car and the interior is far nicer especially the seats.

I am glad I went for this over the VXR and Scooby and have not missed the GT at all. Sound of vtec beats any dump valve! :p

well its been over a month now and i can safley say that I am no longer enjoying the CTR as much as I originally hoped :(

It is costing tons in fuel, oil etc and well when I drive to Bristol for uni on friday the M4 is packed with old men driving them!! They are not as fun as I thought it would be and may consider selling soon! :(

I wouldnt feel down about it mate.. you gotta try these things out to find out if you will like them or not, its all part of life I suppose. Can be an expensive past-time though.

Man,

That is really too bad mate. You will obviously make a loss, especially now in the current climate if you sell.

I yearn for something new, more modern...but don't want to end up regretting something or the next car not meeting my expectations.

Good luck with whatever you do mate :(
