Thank fuck he is dead, one less radical to use and abuse people and religion. As the for the burial at sea, he had to be buried within 24 hours, and if he's at sea then there's no shrine.
I can understand the USA citizens celebrating. Having been to New York and talking to people that live, work, and lost people there it is hard not to emphasize with them. If someone had wiped out 3000 people in Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, or London city centre etc then I'm sure everyone would be celebrating. It's part of dealing with the grief and anger that they have endured.
Sure there are going to be reprisals, but who said war is easy...
