Some of us, even those that are part of TGTT Staff talked to Toby daily before he even began his business adventure. Having never really purchased from any Trader here I can offer a neutral perspective.
I personally think he is a genuine guy and as nanglebadger has stated, I wish him luck for his fresh approach to his business, but he won't be a trader here.

There is certainly no vendetta, every discision has been made as a team. We offered Toby time and were very lenient towards him, as far as I'm aware Toby was good for the forum and competative trade helps bring out new components and bring down prices for YOU guys (The members).

When he failed to act given the chance there was no choice but to protect the people here whom were receiving a bad service. Toby knows that and I'm sure he regrets slipping up.


BY ALL MEANS, if you want to purchase from Toby then do so. But we would not advise it and will not be able to support you.

This forum has already moved away from Toby and there are many new and prosperous traders here offering some great services and they will easily go on to match and exceed what Toby has done.

Thus there is no real loss here. The same goes for every trader I guess, there is a demand to trade here and whilst that exists then anyone is expendable I guess.

If Toby had problems he should of let us know and we could have assisted him further. Simple as that.

As stated, the forum has moved away from having Toby as a trader. I think any testomonials should be left directly with his site, not here.

toytuning operates as a ltd company as you know Ricky. There is no way he would be going to prison and given the EXTREMELY unstable position of this company people would be mad to buy from them. If they go under you will never see your money again. Sure go and buy an oil filter for a few quid if you want to feel brave but buying a £1000 set of coilovers etc... you would want to be mental! There is a reason these guys have their site plastered on our front page, we did not just get bored one day and decide to put a warning there.

Perhaps Toby has managed to sell his skyline and can now afford to buy in some of the parts people have already paid for. Begs the question... when people paid for their parts months ago where did their money go? because it sure as hell did not go towards buying in the parts they had ordered.

It will take more than a couple of people buying small parts to restore faith in this company, personally I would never even consider ordering from them again.

At the end of the day Toby is a nice bloke from past experiance, i mean PAST experiance from when i was on this site many years ago he was around then not trading - but he was given his chance, and chances to recitfy peoples orders..

Its not difficult, you either provide people with the parts in a reasonable amount of time - im sure people accept some of these parts are on special order and can take a few weeks sometimes BUT once it starts getting into months you provide a FULL refund to the customer and dont ignore correspondence from them!

Once Toby's full name was put on the front page of this website it immediately got indexed on google and is second hit when you search for him. He was then banned. Within hours of doing this he was contacting people after 3 months or more of silence. So yes the activities we engaged in led to Toby coming out of hiding. You might think that is us patting ourselves on the back, it is us attempting to assist members who had been ripped off as best we could.

I dont give orders to anyone and the site staff can confirm that as with all decisions we make on this site it was a collective one. As for did I make the website he has? No but the members of this site put money in his pocket to allow him make that website and they are the people he turned his back on. As stated earlier I care nothing about Toby's business I care about our members.

You seem to have a huge issue with me and are again referring to my rep points. I have never mentioned them until you made reference to them. You have mentioned them several times now so it appears they are more of an issue to you than they are to me. It is just a number mate its no reason to be getting so upset. They are simply small thank you's from members for sorting out account issues etc that often pop up on the site. They are no indication of technical knowledge etc as you suggested earlier.

I'm glad to see that people are having better service from TT these days, i would never want to see anyone loose their money, but regardless of your personal view towards Toby and TT, on behalf of the Admin team of UKSC i can state that they will not grace our forum again. This is not a decision we have made based on personal feelings, we reached this conclusion due to the fact that we the admin feel a responsibility towards the members of UKSC to protect them where we have information to suggest that they would be subjected to poor service or potential loss of money.

I genuinely wish TT all the very best, but the stance of UKSC will remain unchanged on this matter.

have to agree some people think toby is brilliant again just because he is starting to send out parts

This rollercoaster ride of emotion should be filed in with the Toytuning feedback so I'll do that soon in due course for ya buddy.

After seeing all that I've seen and hearing all that I've heard from Toytuning in the past 12 months I can feel only one way. Toby is a liability.

He may be able to turn his fortunes around but I totally agree with Dylan -he will have to do it without TGTT. We are united with UKSC's stance on the matter (cheers Phil).

Please trust me that this is NOT an opinion formed lightly and only enforced in the best interests of our members.

cant believe this thread is still open, after toby was given TWO chances to get parts sent out to people who had paid for them, he still didnt bother his arse to reply and give updates on orders or refunds.In my eyes that is unacceptable.

And now that he has sent out the odd bit here and there people are willing to give him a third chance.I CANT FUCKIN BELEIVE IT.I can guarantee that this site and certain memebers have saved people a hell of alot of money cause of there actions in with regards to showing what was going on with TT.
