My Glanza is far from luxury so I certainly wouldnt be using it as a daily driver... couldnt agree more with the comment from gee - there is more to a car than speed.
I think Gee is lying about his Glanza being swapped... that would be the end of an era.

i used to like hondas coz of their unique vtec scream but then all my mates bum hondas, literally, cumming in the exhaust. ive always been a toyota fan in my twin cam but coz of them i dont like em. hondas this honda that....some of em say vti's do 0-60 in 6 secs, what dickheads!!!

A well built vtec motor can be extremely competative against most modded turbo cars unless your talking about 800BHP skylines etc........... Even in mine ive shamed a few turbod cars and mines only midly modded really.......
Infact if you run a built up Vtec motor and run it on meth theyve seen gains of 380WHP+ from a 1.8litre!!
Check out "ALL MOTOR CIVICS" on youtube and watch some of them crack 10's,11's and alot of them 12's.......
Its all about how its tuned/what cams and to the extent of the headwork.... Lets not forget you can always add a little nitrous to spice things up too....
Once again i love both turbo and N/A, i just know the potential of both whilst some people NOT ALL, just some are completely stuck in there 2 inch narrow walled minds......

They are both known as hot hatches so i think more within reason to compare... Weather one is far better then the other, they are still in the same catogorey of car.....

well there has been lots of different civic type R's produced in a short space of time with not many years in between so "eras" can be relatively short
The Glanza is pretty much identical to the GT chassis and engine wise which has been around since the early 90s so yes I would say from a different era.

I don't see a problem with a little fun rivalry but people can go too far and I also find it funny when our little 1.3's get compared to bigger engine cars etc. I had a honda before and to be honest it was very under powered and no torque(this was a 2litre as well!) Luckily someone decided to paintstripper it and got it wrote off! but the ek9 type R is gorgeous if I could afford to pay double the tax I'd have one...
