Ignition wiring

Is it the distributer type ignition that we have to use?

Hi guys anybody can tell me which wire to connect for ignition from the 4efte ecu to the emu.

yep it is the distributor wire you have to use

hey guys i been away for a while and i kinda dont get the launch control hoobie doobie....
can we just hook everything up 2 the ecu as per instructions or does it have to bridge wires.....
i read through but im at work and feeling dumb........
i have the mapping all set up but the wires have me stumped atm

u just hook it up as normal mate, no bridging required

the wireing is not difficult at all

thanks kon.. i got it all almost ready to go now.. i just got my new harness from rhd japan and got it patched in.. just gotta make sure it works now b4 i finish it off..... and set up the flame show.... lol i need the launch control

now whenever it dips under 1000rpm it says on my log on the laptop that it has a low vtec signal :s wtf and my launch doesnt work

i have wired ecus b4 and this one is just playin funny buggers with me lol

hey i couldnt get launch control to work on my car either. Its cos the ep82 TPS signal doesnt work the same way as the glanza ones. And if you check in the wiring we dont hook up the TPS sensor to the emanage as well.

u need to get an alternate 5v signal say from the map sensor & connect it to a switch, that way when u want to use launch u just flip the switch to send a constant 5v signal thats the only way i know of on an ep82.. its kinda annoying, but untill i have an ep82 to play with then i have no idea apart from this one..

thanks dylan for the room, it would be awesome, perhaps a sub section to the ecu section in the technical forum? (just an idea lol)..

at niv18 as for the ignition problem use the distributor diagram & yes its t1.. make sure that u have the jumper for the ignition frequency set to 5v, coz if the emu that u have bought was for some reason set for a honda it will be set for 12v igntion which would give many problems..

no, as most features need the water temp to work, such as the a/f target map..

how did damage manage to get his launch control working then?

did he use an automatic tps?

that im afraid only he knows, he didnt even tell his customers how he did it.. lol actually he charged his clients for teh cable+software & never passed it on... let alone share tuning secrets... u dont know what kind of kid he is..:freddy:

dont forget to leave the jumper settings as stock. DO NOT DO AS THE MANUAL SAYS!! leave them open.. otherwise ull have problems..
