so a switch from the map sensor in2 the tps wire on the emu will work for launch???? what about if i had a auto tps from the ep82??? being variable it should work.... i hope....

well yeah it should work with a variable tps.. gud luck finding the wire for the tps though... i cant bloody figure it out for the ep82..

i have set up the launch control in my emanage ultimate and works perfect..
but i shut off my car and i go after a few seconds to start why launch and it does not work ...
each time it should I setup with the laptop?

it could be that u did not tick the little box near the ign cut function.. theres "adj" & a little tick box near it.. try it out, coz otherwise it will reset every time

cam angle is marked as "G" on the wireing diagram, its a grey with black wire on the emu harness

so im guessing no one has tried the launch control on an ep82 b4??? it has 2 b able 2 work somehow without all the stupid crap needed to go through....

i tried connecting the TPS wire to the TPS wire on the ep82 (should be the one with #1 on the ep82 diagram) and launch control didnt work. I havent tried attaching it to the map sensor yet.

so im guessing no one has tried the launch control on an ep82 b4??? it has 2 b able 2 work somehow without all the stupid crap needed to go through....

im thinking about hookin up a voltage stepdown switch and a thumb button on the steering wheel and feeding a 5 volt signal 2 the ecu just for launch... it should work... if the map sensor thing doesnt work

the map sensor thing should work, u just manually need to insert the voltages in the tps parameters..

Launch control does work on GT very well
I don't know where you are getting trouble...

it is a GT conversion so I don't know wich year. but it has a GT ECU (2plugs).
I had launch control activated both on GT and a glanza on the same day few month ago (just few days before Fur explained in this topic). I'll have to look again in my settings.
I will be working on that GT today again, so I'll bring back all settings. the only diference is thottle setting. I'll post tomorrow evening after we have finished our First Official 400 metre in the country (as I need to run for now)

Workin on an Ep82 Harness

Hey guys,

Thought id show u what im working on.. gives a little insight how to make ure life simpler when wireing an emu harness

Select the wires u need, then bind the rest, so they dont get in the way..

After thats done, then couple the (in & out) wires together ie the ones ull be cutting on the field harness later... & group the ones ur going to splice together..

Next bend the field harness so u have the extra length u need

Finally carefully select the wires in "plug sections" ie group the top & bottom wires of the connector separeatly.. devise a plan of attack & ur ready to start wireing..

Now that was the difficult part, as when u see the emu for the first time ull scratch ur head with all the wires u have.. then when u separate them ull actually realise the 4e uses fuck all lol..

Here it is. I'm back from our first official 400m where the GT I've been working on won the 1300 1400cc turbo category
anyway, I have attached throttle settings. we didn't plug any TPS wire as greddy didn't provide its connection on the GT ECU diagram.
so I had to play with manual setting trick.

So let me get this right.. u didnt connect the tps wire to anything? & just edited the tps settings? or did u connect the emu tps wire to something?

Also lio could u pls make that pic a little bigger as its too small lol.. (yes i tried opening it )

Kon, I didn't connect any TPS wire. I've just been playing with emanage setting so when you datalog he always show 5 volts, so emanage thinks you are full thottle, so emanage activate Launch control. In case you are wondering (I'm sure you are) it doesn't affect iddle or cruise driving
