Hi all,
It's a shame i haven't got to know you all and see you at meets and events upcoming this year, but it is with great regret to say i'll be breaking my Glanza now.
Having poured a cool gazillion £s into it to get it fixed and make it right, and eventually i was failed by my local toyota and subsequently the glanza has well and truly died. I took it to them with a suspected wheel/gearbox bearing issue, and they told me the noise was definitely coming from the gearbox so it'd need rebuilding... anyway, 20 miles down the road my engine (for want of a better word...) 'explodes'... i'm yet to have had it diagnosed but it is definitely NOT the gearbox! (the bloody thing sounds like it's on 3 cylinders when you turn it over and all the engine oil's emptied itself from the engine)
I've put (far)too much money into it to even consider having the engine rebuilt (again...last done 6,000 miles ago ), so i will be stripping it for parts and waving a sad goodbye to Glanza ownership.
I must say though, TGTT is a bloody awesome resource and i've never had any complaints with the people on it personally
So this is me signing out! ...apart from the breaking thread in the parts section when i get it all done!
 Ciao!
