Sorry to bump an old thread but I did a google for the number plate and it brought me to this thread. Gutted to see what's happened to it as I owned the car from 2006 until late 2012 :(

My speedo cable died two days later! Then my headgasket went... For now I'll assume it's speedo cable lol

Never had any problems with mine until I started modifying it lol.

Had my car mapped by tuning developments last week. You wont be disappointed

Great stuff! I took it for a spin just now and there was no noise after tidying the cables up a bit. However Its going for a longer run tomorrow so that'll prove if it's worked or not. If not I'll do as you've posted and see what happens! Judging by the instructions I assume you need small hands...

I've pulled the bottom part of the dash off. Lots of rogue cables that may be tapping bits of plastic lol?

I'm not practical at all but I'll give it a shot lol...

Hi, a rattling/ticking noise has started behind my dash, seems to be coming from the drivers side. Sometimes its quiet and other times its incredibly loud and differs depending on speed at times. Its driving me mental, any ideas before I start taking everything apart lol?

I get this with my TD04, puffs of blue smoke now and then when its decelerating. Oil level doesn't seem to drop either lol.

Took my car up to tuning developments to get my emanage blue mapped and a few other niggly bits and bobs. Car was there for a week, very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. Rung me when problems arose to check whether or not to proceed etc.. Communication was top notch throughout...

Seen a lot of it on the psych wards I work on, try and stay off it if you can man.

most of my problems have been little things like Wheel bearings however I did at one point have a slipping clutch, cracked standard mani and cracked S/S downpipe. Changed to TD04 (speedvision setup) and that mani cracked pretty quickly. Fan belt snapped as I was driving which ended up in me...

I've had my GT since the start of 2006, wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many things to list lol! expensive but its not my daily driver anymore and I love it too much to get rid of it.

I used to bench 70x5 squat 130x5 and deadlift 110x5 at 5ft 7 and 74kg. Now I'm a racing cyclist (time trials) and only weigh 62kg! Tried benching the other day and just about did 50kg haha!!
