Will be doing this as soon as I can find some 460cc injectors. Tuning Developments is on standby. We have a Dyno ready and waiting. Hoping to see over 250bhp on a completely stock engine!

Will keep you all updated :)

Seem to recall seeing pics of that prime example of what can happen.

Ahh is all chance you might find this engine lasts a long time or a short time.

the funny thing we was mapping at the time on the way to the dyno

Hope so. If it blows its not the end of the world. Nice learning curve :) Just need some injectors then we can begin project "Boost till it blows".

Every toyota engine different!

yours might last 6 month whereas someones might last 2 days!

the difference in the engines makes modifying interesting.

I made 252@1.1bar which was 190whp so as you can see the fwhp is probably a bit high! when you do it bulletouth get the whp figure!

your car should be able to run 1.4 bar safe enough with a good tune,at the end of the day its up to the tuner to get it right.run a good headgasket

Yeah will do mate. WHP is the only true figure you can really go on. We really don't know what will happen when we start mapping it. I know it would stand a much better chance if using a uprated metal headgasket, but we wanted to see how far we can push a completely standard engine.

Headgasket being the weakest point!!!

This will be happening in the next 2-3weeks. There will be videos of the mapping/dyno run just incase in goes bang in a specatular way :D

I think the standard HG will surprise u, well so long as its not super old and is a genuine toyota one.
