Meant to be having an ECU fitted and mapped tomorrow and the tuners have cancelled on me.

Been booked in for well over a month and they cancelled on me right at the last minute.
Booked the day off work in order to get it done.

Pissed off. :mad:

I feel your pain mate! That's the last thing u want especially last minute! Where were u getting it fitted if u don't mind me asking?

No where else can fit me in at such short notice now either. Unless i wanted to spend out on a full standalone.

Re-arranged at Redline for 12th June. Had to book another day off work too.

i spoke toi redline last week he told me a three week wait to have my fueling sorted on the rr, i feel your pain.
trouble is everywhere else is so much more expensive in essex havnt found anywhere else to mach them price wise have you ?

few people have had problems down there with richie! i found someone mapping unichips in romford called tony! cant fault his work on my car. i can send you over his number if you want,people have commented on how well he mapped mine!

They are pretty good for prices.
AMD will do a simple power run and wideband check for you at a competative price.

Bad news but better they contacted you to let you know rather than you take the journey to them. You know what tuning cars is like, problems arise and I suppose they may need to finish one car before they can start into another, or maybe their mapper has took sick.

Only another 2 weeks mate, then you will be rocking.

That sucks mate, least they phoned to tell u, i remember about 3 years ago i took my car somewhere to get mapped, had it booked in and when i got there it wasnt even open, 3 hour round trip, wasnt too happy lol

Dnt go AMD my brother took his 2.litre turbo astra there the map was crap very jerky they made it with that much torque it burnt clutch out on way home 15 miles away lol not good and yes clutch was fine before

So they mapped his car and are responsible for his clutch not being up to the map? :-/
