I had the same pipe blowing off all the time, however I've managed to get it on VERY tight and it hasn't blown off once in 2 weeks whereas when I first fitted it, it was coming off every time it came on boost lol.

I'm happy with the autobahn kit, but it does need some minimal spending on it to make it what it should be.

deff! like the clips, when they snapped, which wasnt hard, your could see rust on the weld??? for the cooler kit it self, have no problems... well poss for the pipes sitting so low that i catch the hoosing on the ground abit. but seeing i bought a reducer pipe, i have a spare hoosing lol. also on the instructions it dose not say exactly where to cut on the bumper properly. over all im happy but them niggly bit was annoying while fitting!

I agree, have seen no rust though, but the pipes do hang low also I made a hash of cutting the bumper so gave up in the end lol. Not as easy as you'd expect to fit really.

the piping is an exact copy of the greddy kit. Well, you know what they say, copy from the best ;)

the one pipe bolts on the air condition motor and the other on the gearbox right?

just a tip
was doing a lot of work to the car today and had to take the intercooler(autobahn 88) off and the pipe that runs past the gear box to the intake was badly damaged
the gearbox with the movement of the engine was cutting into the pipe.

I need to make some little brackets for the bottom cos the one supplied were far too small!

Sorry my engine bay is abit of a mess, thats a job for next weekend! All of my rocker cover bolts were loose so that why theres oil everywhere!!

I finished it off on sunday by cutting the centre of the bumper out and getting a smaller number plate. I filled the whole with some black mesh to make it look more suttle.

Also i noticed that the centre of the intercooler is pretty much exactly the same size as the centre of the bumper that ive meshed, just thought that was abit strange!

You should have had 2 seperate small little mounts that you screw on, only managed to get the 1 on, ended up taking it to a garage to get some stronger ones made up :D

were can i get nuts to fit the turbo studs and a gasket for the turbo pipe ??

Cheers

order some new hose clamps from Toby's group buy. those jubilee clips are utter wank, my turbo pipe blew off at about .4 bar!

Also do not re-use the factory nuts on the turbo studs. the autobahn turbo pipe has a very very thick flange, and only a small length of stud sticks out the holes (the factory nuts have a thick built in washer on them and if you're not carefull you will strip the thread on the studs)

you will also need a gasket for the turbo pipe where it joins the flange

not sure to be honest. i already have masses of that kinda stuff in my garage.

motor factors should sell loads of different gaskets, and harware shops should sell stainless steel nuts
