For sale: Big spec head made for starletgtturbo1, I purchased back in 2010 and never used.

Item Condition: New.

Price and price conditions: £2500

The cams need the bolts in the ends but i was told buy starletgtturbo1 there easy to get hold off. I will sell this with the 4age head studs, Athena 1.4mm HG modified for the head studs and modified location dowls for the block.

I remember when this head was built the money wellie's threw at it was nuts and Chris spent months porting matching and polishing this bad boy
Shame it never reached me for fitting to wellie's 4wd 5e
And the manifold it was matched to is now on spuddy's car I believe
Who ever buys this wouldn't regret it atall !

is this the head that was built abroad the one u were on about Marc before u got the head u got now ?

Am sure I mind u speaking bout it year or 2 ago :)

Why does ace stuff like this come up when am away to go k26 setup and do my offshore courses :( what a bummer gutted be the word :(

Just to go thro what is included

Polished std cam cover
Head ready to bolt on.
ARP 4AGE head stud kit
Athena 1.4mm HG ready for head studs to fit
Dowls machined for the 4AGE stud kit
Block bored to suit 74.5mm wisco pistons and nochted for scat rods plus holes ready for Head studs. Block also decked.
Crank with caps.
ARP main bolts.

Some must want a head with the spec

specs are:

Custom oversize valves +1,5mm intake +1mm exhaust.
Port and polished at both sides.
Exhaust side mirror polished intake side rough surface.
Debured and polised chambers and equalize them at 37,5 cc.
Skimed,pressure checked and magnafluxed
3 angle valve job,elemination of the step under the valve seat
Hrf full kit adjusted to tightest possible specs,valves relaped
new oem valve stem seals
drilled and modifyed to accept 4age studs
Daves billet cams 282deg
base valve pressure adjusted

Do the sums this is cheap !

Any gains for a K24/26 hybrid setup? Will this allow for an increase in revlimit? What other gains are to be had with this head? Pardon my ignorance!

I'm not sure on the advantages for your setup, but yeah bigger rev limit as it has no shims. To be honest i have no idea what if any gains you would have at all. I was just going to put it all together and see how it went.
