Boot Lock Barrel Stolen..

It's a learning experience I guess.

New door is on but I've removed the inside door pin. That will hopefully make it pointless to bend the door or break the glass. The internal rods have been removed too so punching the lock again will achieve nothing. Will do this to the drivers door too asap.

In the meantime I'll save up and get the damaged door and a spare drivers door delocked. At least that'll deter the fuckers a little more. Had considered changing to a boring diesel or something but that would be admitting defeat and we'll not be having any of that!

Funny thing is I think I got the good end of the deal this time - It took me less time to fix her up that they spent watching the Cloverfield DVD that was in the glovebox. That's an hour and a half they will never get back.. Better luck next time lads. :haha:

Never let the fuckers get you down.

man its sickening that people cant leave other peoples property alone :( sorry this happened again Jay.

Have you thought about a highly visible deterrent like a handbrake to gearstick lock and a full steering wheel cover lock. Maybe they would look and think "no point breaking in as its too much hassle" and move on to the next unlucky persons car.

Got another twist in the tale today lol..

Random phonecall from the Youth Conference telling me that my little half-inching halfwit has been in custody this past while and that his track record hasn't improved in the slightest. Over the last year they have managed to wring £100 out of him in dribs and drabs so it's all mine. Guess crime doesn't exactly pay but it's doesn't exactly cost him a lot either in comparison.

Given his behaviour they are sending the case (along with others) back to court and he'll be resentenced.

In any road I guess this weekend's beers are on him!

fair play to you jay. it is so easy to see how something like this could put a person down and even turn them off cars but congrats and best of luck with the matter...
