Put it this way, Speedvision cams are the bain of my life.

You and Ted would make great friends!

@Turboloon, was chattin to Chris earlier, unlucky lad but it coulda been worse, I know the speeds that can be needed during a mapping session.

Well today had both good points and bad points but atleast the weather held up and we got a tan from it :haha:.

Where to start really...

Arrived down at the Car Park for around 8.50am and surprisingly Rory was there nice and early :p, waited for Rosco to arrive and off to the P&O Ferries to pick up Jay and Chris.

Before we went down, Rory had told me he was planning on bringing a couple of tools down just incase ...

Tho the tool chest came in really handy throughout the whole day lol.

Chris's mapping is unreal, he is totally on the ball and to say his skills are great is an under-estimation of how good they are. I got my fuelling all perfected, boost steady on 1.4bar and holding it along with my starting issue finally resolved, after 2 years! I honestly wish i used Chris from the first time round and i wouldnt of had half this hassel.

Unfortuently on one of the mapping sessions and unmarked BMW traffic car decided to stalk and strike, (turboloon) but this flung a spanner in the works as we found that a perfect stretch of road.

Im positive Rory will update what happened with the Speedvision Cams also on the day.

Apart from this, it was a cracking day, banter and storys where being passed around and it was good crack, if anyone is wanting there car mapped, Chris cannot be recommended enough, take this advice from someone who didnt take it and learned! :) It was great meeting you both

I hope you enjoyed the Coronas also

Here are some pics of the day...

What it looks like here, is Rory sawing off a a piece of Troon as a token for his journey but was actually sawing off the handle of his Wire Brush to be used along with the exhaust clamp :haha:.

Apart from myself, he's the only other person thats drove or been a passenger in my car with the race map/nitrous in use. Damn we did some laughing.

Lol, poor Chris is sick of the sight of my car! He's had a good couple of months though as in he's not seen me up pestering him the last 2 months :)

New ECU going in though so he has it all to do again lol!

I've always dreaded the coppers on a mapping run, I think over on the mainland there are alot more of them about than over here.

Nah lad, unfortunatly you watching the right videos lol! Though there was a short final drive in the box, that is now removed so lets hope any newer videos are better! Would be better to have the video being taking from the top end of the strip though, I only turn on the nitrous at the end.

I think Chris told me earlier how it coulda been worse, lucky enuf!

Shit one mate, what did the pealers think of Chris sitting with his headphones on and laptop on his knees?

Pretty lucky to get away with only 3points if it was on a mapping run!

Just tucking into some long awaited Southern now.. Man that was a long day!

You boys are lucky I managed to talk Chris down from the roof of Morrisons at lunchtime. Poor fella was melted all day with hangover, sleep deprevation and all the joys of EP-tuning. Turned out okay in the end.

We can take consolation in the fact those three points were handed out by a fellow 'tuner'.. :haha:
