Well today had both good points and bad points but atleast the weather held up and we got a tan from it :haha:.
Where to start really...
Arrived down at the Car Park for around 8.50am and surprisingly Rory was there nice and early
, waited for Rosco to arrive and off to the P&O Ferries to pick up Jay and Chris.
Before we went down, Rory had told me he was planning on bringing a couple of tools down just incase ...
Tho the tool chest came in really handy throughout the whole day lol.
Chris's mapping is unreal, he is totally on the ball and to say his skills are great is an under-estimation of how good they are. I got my fuelling all perfected, boost steady on 1.4bar and holding it along with my starting issue finally resolved, after 2 years! I honestly wish i used Chris from the first time round and i wouldnt of had half this hassel.
Unfortuently on one of the mapping sessions and unmarked BMW traffic car decided to stalk and strike, (turboloon) but this flung a spanner in the works as we found that a perfect stretch of road.
Im positive Rory will update what happened with the Speedvision Cams also on the day.
Apart from this, it was a cracking day, banter and storys where being passed around and it was good crack, if anyone is wanting there car mapped, Chris cannot be recommended enough, take this advice from someone who didnt take it and learned!
It was great meeting you both
I hope you enjoyed the Coronas also
Here are some pics of the day...
What it looks like here, is Rory sawing off a a piece of Troon as a token for his journey but was actually sawing off the handle of his Wire Brush to be used along with the exhaust clamp :haha:.
