just read through this thread you would think when ya man was building the engine he would want it build right and solid those bearings are bad and inside the block i've never seen that before its a balls what happened but i hope ya get sorted

quick question couldnt he use the cap from the shit 5e provided that they was good and just plastiguage the crank to get the correct bearing size ? withiout a line bore ?

Right, we have news, well sort of, the block without at least one main cap is scrap, they can't line bore it as they don't know where the centre should be.
He said it can be done, but without one main cap from the original engine its not worth the expense and it could cause other problems.
