i dont doubt dans car doing that in that time, he just needs do it on 1/4mile to shut everyone up! i think everyones cars perform better on the road etc and not where they want them to on the quarter! dan sort that headgasket out for shakespeare! were not expecting great times thinking the turbo needs a rebuild.
and anyway why we comparing a 1.3turbo to a 2.0turbo? its just wrong same goes with these 5e conversions.
kelly no-one here is comparing........... i just said i would like to race dans car..... even though its only a 1.3 it still has a power to ratio of something ridiculous...... i would just like to see how mine compares to his rolling start say at 70mph upwards........
Terminal speeds would be the ideal indication for this 1.

just trying lighten the mood, but as you wanna see from 70mph upwards dan might wanna race you from standing to see how that compares.btw just uploading santapod vids think your run is on there! and your 60ft is impressive! cant imagine what its guna be like with better tyres and lsd!

no that isnt an indication as i spin all through 1st and 2nd and half of 3rd gear literally...... goldenVTR's doesn't.... 1st yes and a tad in 2nd..... i have to gain most of my speed after spinning to the end of the Q/M........
Im not saying what would happen anyway.... i just would like to see both off pull offs AND rolling starts on different gears to see how they both compare... as i already stated in a previous post.......
Im really interested, and im impressed with his car as its only a 1.3.........

yeah i would also like to see off standing starts.... both......... im not too sure how my 60ft time was 2.1secs? im confused... as most fairly quick cars keep with me till the end of 2nd gear..........? ahh well........

yea i deffo want to meet up something, i hope my car remains all good after i get the head gasket back on! im not fused about who can make teh fastest 1/4mile out of us but i really do want to see the differnce in our cars say 3rd gear onwards.
And for everyone asking im on standard internals @ 1.3bar on a td04 turbo lol only run 1.3bar for drags tho, 0.9 is my daily driven amount with the occasinal flick of the hi boost button.
Will be much better when you get yorus wheels and lsd on mate youll love it, then we can have proper drag at shakespear raceway or something.

should be proper............ yeah honestly ive never been too bothered about Q/M times although it is nice to get it down as low as possible... bit addictive really, lol.....
Whatever happens i cant see there being much in the speed to be honest, hardly think your car struggles mid range haha......
defo lookin forward to it........ and if you pull mid range im forging up 400HP

The 1/4mile is too addictive especially when you know you can improve!.
would love to see 400bhp from a GT that has midrange unlike the HRFv300 - thats 400odd BHP but only had power high up with lots and loats of lagg.
I know that youll beat me higher up just a question of at what point really. say your runnin 300bhp i think our power/weight ratios have got to be close. but obviasly your torque and reponce

hes gota an LSD with 205 tires... i have no LSD with 175 tires... well have to talk when i have them just to make it a fair test in that respect....
