I think its unfair that women get cheaper insurance.
My first year of driving I paid £1600 for a vauxhall corsa sport 1.6, my girlfriend had a 1.6 Audi sport and paid the same, however I could put money on the fact that if she was to get a quote for my corsa, it would be cheaper, and vice versa if I was to get a quote on the Audi, I would have been bent over and spanked.
Fair enough that males do drive more than females, and males are more likely to have 2 cars (sports car and work car for example). I feel though that it is us males that take the brunt for women. The amount of times I've seen a woman in the outside lane go all the way round a roundabout, and cut me up, and I have had some very close encounters with them is not even countable on both hands. If it wasn't for my reactions they would have hit straight into the passenger side door. I think that us males are the ones that end up avoiding the acidents for the females.
