Porting a standard manifold?????????

Hi folks was im going to get a standard manifold cos im sick of my mani crackn.. so was wondering can you port the standard mani??

is there a certain hole in the manifold you port to prevent the cracks???? im not looking for power gains but ive just heard that you can port a certain hole in the mani due to a restriction which causes it to crack????

How much would you shave of??? just a small bit like less than a 1mil??? And even if i port the mani will it crack like the performance manis do???

as much as you can lad. with proper air powered tools and burrs it will take 3 hours. if your using a dremel it could take you 3 days!lol. should be able to get your thumb easily down all runners when you are finished.

OEM Maifold or Aftermarket Manifold

Hi everyone need abit of info,
Right guys ive brought my gt about 5 years ago standard and it still is so now ive decided that i wanna tweek it up abit not nothing extreme but i wanna run a safe and reliable 1 bar or 1.1, so ive heard the standard manifolds have a restruction in port 3 so if i was going to port the standard manifold will it be expensive or shall i get a aftermarket one instead?.

It would be more exensive to buy an aftermarket 1.

Port your own, they work fine.

Lads on here have run td04 on those manis when they r ported.

Contact ed, 12345678, on here, he may be able to sort you out with one to save you the hassle.
