Well was having a look on piston heads last night and came across this civic, ive spoke to the bloke today and hes up for doing a swap. I was planning on getting the glanza respraid in the next couple of weeks, but obviously if i get this ill keep the money, save it bit more and get this turbod.

Just wonderd what everyones opinions are on them, dont that much about them tbh, all i know is a mate of a mate had one with a b18 engine in and the thing sounded amazing and was doing all sorts on the track at japfest !

the b18c6 isn't a jdm type r motor its the uk one and i think the only difference is the manifold and ecu i think. i wouldn't swap, i had an eg with a b18c-r engine in it and i was bored after a week or 2

looks a nice civic on paper,

i'd be careful about swapping to it though tbh - doesn't have any history that he mentions, the shell has 100k on it - this style civic is pretty bad for rusting especially around the arches.

If you wanted something like that I'd look into selling your car and pricing up getting a car and doing the swap on it.. at least you know where the bits have come from and it has not been bodged together.

Your car looks great btw dunno why you'd wanna swap it away :)

i had a b18 type r myself and got very fed up of it after a couple of months.they are nice cars though but just think it through :)

Well im still not fed up of my B18C type R even after 1 years and half after the conversion. So dont listen to any-ones opinion on the actual car including myself and do what the hell you want. If you've not tried it and fancy a change then i think that sounds like a good plan. Not for you then guy another car or maybe turbo the car.

I personally miss anything i like and dont have, weather its boost/jet power or insane N/A. And a starlets boost is pathetic and nothing to be missed unless your running a larger turbo of some sort. The CT9 feels like an N/A motor lol! My vtec has more boost!! (That was a joke) so no crying ok he he he

I drove a eg with a type r B18 for a day when my bro had one and to be honest a day was enough! It was cool and all, fairly quick too but I was still happier getting back into my CT9 Glanza which Ive been driving nearly everyday for the last four years!!:p
Just go check it out and decide for yourself, everyone has there own preference.

the description says its a uk integra engine yet it also says it has an lsd which im sure was only in jdm engines???
