What a weekend!! Track was great, weather was great, cars were great, all the people I got to talk to were great and £1.65 a pint, cant add any more.

Would have got talking to more of you but ended up under the car a lot due to a perishing oil return pipe leaking onto the exhaust made me a mobile smoke screen.

Sam you did brilliant, thanks. I thought I had brought enough stuff with me, Rory, real top man that, pulled sealer, cleaner and pipes out of his motor to try and cure my problem, but it was to far gone.

The hose eventually split on the road to Holyhead. So lucky, we stopped at a garage and on a bit of waste ground beside it there was an old fairground ride and other stuff dumped. Managed to get a bit of hose out of the lorry and a very ropey black tape and cable ties emergency job cured the problem. That wasted time nearly made us miss the boat, what a run we had in the end. Have to say you know you have good mates in times like that, the other irish lads were brilliant all weekend, even not getting their fill of drink on the Friday night didnt upset them lol. My clock showed 1425 KM on it from Friday morning, £130 in fuel to do that lol, but was still worth it!!

The car of the day for me was Dub7`s conversion. The attention to detail under the bonnet and purely genius fabricating skills of his pit crew really impressed me.

What is it with you lot and the price of beer lol

I am with you about Dub's car out of the ones I went out on track this was by far the best put together!! The workmanship that has gone in to this car is mind blowing have always been a fan of the project but seeing it in the flash just blew me away!!! Even the wheels looked fab on track!!!

Rory, how did you find traction on the straight and back straight? i was running 1.4bar with a quaiffe and was struggling a fair bit tbh!

I was getting some slight loss of traction on certain bumps when the tyres were hot, you guys must have been having a right mare putting the power down. :homer:

no problems here, the softer ride from the konis really helped, got wheelspin in 2nd gear out of the bustop but after that it was grip and go :)
