im pretty sure there realy was lightweight glanza though? or am i missing the point and is nobdy actualy questioning that? :haha: ive seen a few others advertised... and they've all had the same "manual mirrors but electric windows" thing, seems pretty pointless to be honest.

edit: my bad i just read the edit

people seem to say there is a light weight model of the glanza or "p-sport" as iv seen advertised aswell. but in 3 years on starlet forums i dont think iv seen any proof of this. most likely just a poverty spec glanza for those who couldnt afford the luxurys of electric windows and mirrors etc. think this guy is jumpin on the bandwagon, electric windows with manual mirrors makes no sense

lol, Yeah they did do a lightweight version, but it just has like full time high boost and no ABS. Still has aircon though lol.

The 'lightweight' Glanza is the P-Sports edition which has no low boost setting, manual windows, no clock, manual mirrors and wipe-clean seats in a fetchingly senior shade of cream.

It mirrored the Turbo R version of the EP71 (reportedly 20kg lighter than a Turbo S) and was aimed for those with track ambitions or a lightweight wallet. You can argue which on your own.

It did have aircon as standard, but ABS, power windows and other features were only available as options. This means some examples will differ in spec slightly but those are the main bits covered.

The one in that link is a P-Sport V.

Cheers,

Jay

Heres my old "cheapass"/P-Sport Glanza:

DSC00761.jpg

Came with:

-Climate control
-Sexy wipe clean seats
-Essential mega fluffy car OEM car mats

Came without:

-Clock
-Airbags
-ABS
-Electric Mirrors
-Electric windows
-No boost button, no solenoid, just full unrestricted boost
-No stickers anywhere, or rear badge (serious weight reduction)
-No central locking

It also seemed to be road noisy, you could hear every stone flung from the tyres (maybe feck all sound deadening). Also felt faster than a "normal" standard Glanza.
