I'm gonna try to adjust the top mount 90 degree and see if it fits that way and then see how it looks..

I went to get it set up but the guy was a racist b**tard so said he "didn't want to to it". His garage is in a proper ethnic majority area so I see the problem. Need to find somewhere else to go now.

Thats awful Iddy:mad: He doesnt deserve yur custom lad...f*** him!!! Yur car is looking sooo sweet:) drives "the slowest starlet on tgtt"...more like drives the sexiest starlet on tgtt!!:)

edit: never mind you already changed yur "drives" tingy in yur cp!

Hahaha thanks dude much appreciated. :)

Yeah the guy was a prat he told me to scrap my car as I walked in to his bloody garage! I think I know of another place anyway but its more pricey and not very close to me.

I'm gonna have to raise the car when I get home from college anyway because I need to use it over the weekend. I'll try to roll the front arches tomorrow and see if I can slam it again.

So do we think it's definitely just a camber problem then guys? I might have to give it a shot myself for now! :p

shame to hear it, what an a**hole!
if your going to adjusting them again can i suggest you undo the two bolts that go from the shock to the hub, and tilt the top of the hub in as you are tightening them back up, if you know what i mean?
there is usually some movement here and if you do it on both sides and then set both top mounts the same you should be ok until you get them properly set up.
get some pics up of the top mounts in the car if you can,

Mcg

My cousin suggested exactly that ^ and it appears to have fixed the problem. I also turned the top mount 180 degrees.

Thanks a lot for your help guys, just need the camber setting up properly now I guess!

Doing it by eye won't be perfect, but it'll be much better than that mate :)

My mate had to do his Civic by hand to get it usable after he fitted ITR LCA's and struts to it. Like I said, it wasn't perfect, but at least it didn't scrub/drive very poorly until he got it done right :)

Maybe that guy being a prat to your face was a blessing is disguise mate, I wouldn't trust someone like that with my car :)

I'm sure you'll get it sorted!

What coilovers do you have Idrees? The Bitch is wearing D2's and they have an elongated top hole that attaches to the hub, I've found just the slightest difference here makes a massive difference to the camber.

Best thing to do if you do have a similar shaped hole (FNAR!) is to make sure both sides are as close to the same as possible. You'll find that once they're correctly set up, the topmounts won't be identical due to the way your suspension sits and has been worn.

Also, any changes to the topmounts, ride height, hub bolts or infact anything else will probably result in your tracking being kicked out of wang. When I first fitted the D2's I was less than impressed as the car felt like driving hot toffee. Turned out the tracking was way out. :teach:

Cheers Monk.

I have K Sport coilovers, when looking at that hole they are not like the D2's, they are like the stock ones. However, it still had a bit of play in it when the bolt was loose. So my cousin helped me by pushing the hub back as much as he could while I tightened the nut and bolt. I also turned the topmounds around and it seems fines now. :)

Oh yeah I had tracking done straight after, but I still need the proper alignment doing! Thanks for your help guys rep added!

now a serious answer when you tightened the bolts on the bottom of the shocks did you push the shock into the centre of the car as there is a decent amount of movement there that could cause you to have that problem
