to be fair mate if you did the job properly the first time around ie fully rebuilt the engine, you wouldnt have had these problems..
and you have to go some to warp a block, its not very common at all. are you sure you have torqued the head down to the correct settings, and in the right sequence??
also, why do you think the headgasket has gone? are you just going by a compression checker? is the compression low on all cylinders or just certain ones?
the 4e is a bloody good engine to be fair, i think you are kidding yourself if you believe the evo will be more reliable, for starters they are not so cheap and easy to fix compared to the starbo, when they do go wrong
