well when you guys have no answer thats what you end up saying well the rr is not halfar and if halfar as you guys wish and think is downhill the rr isnt oh might be that the rr read stupid figures cos it is in Malta too wtf ??? so now we have one with a ct9 not in Malta with 207bhp oooooh whats the ecuse now?? it cant be too ? just cos its not your car??? as said before some guys on the site must be really jelous . After all I dont really care if you dont beleave this even when i have rr graphs to prove all i know is that im really happy with the car as it is .

Me, jealous?

Nah mate.

Went from 275hp to 185hp, so not fussed about what a RR graph says.

i dont see why it cant be done why is it people are such critics when someone gets good figures

You don't see why it can not be done..I'd like to know HOW it can be done :D

heres a quote

im sure he will sign up soon and have his say

fact 1 the guys a good mapper
fact 2 the car has a good setup

:kiss:

cos its easier to say its not possible and that the rollers over read and bla bla bla than to admit that the guy have a good set up engine and got a very good bhp Gee

Cos maybe the guys posting this shit have tdo4 turbos on which are producing 210 -240bhp so they dont like that with the little ct9 it is close to their bigger turbo with all the money and hassle they had fitting it :drive:

Greg mate - bring it over to us mate, we can put it on our dyno. Same type of dyno and in shootout mode should make near identical figures. Thats the point of shootout mode in fact. I can assure everyone ours does not over read. its bang on!

You guys say its not possible just cos yours isnt producing that much bhp ,well thats stupid thinking I got 159bhp atw ( 190bhp atfw ) and the peak boost was 10.9 and this was on a new mustang rr which has been recently calibrated and the spec of the engine is very minimum I have a standard engine with no head work which i put std toyota pistons in recently , Fmic , Mr Turbo Ecu ,and a zisco ms mani with autobahn down pipe , I am still running on the Aygo fuel pump with the standard fpr .

When the car was set @ 7psi on another roller I was getting 135bhp atw and now on this one I got 159bhp atw is this figure so over the top??? cos i dont think so if you have a healthy engine with a good tune.

So if i dont have 190bhp atfw can any of you bright ones that is saying these figures are not possible tell me how i am managing 13.8 q/m runs which guys running td04 are not even close to?

Lets hear now :rolleyes:

Now that's a good offer!! I'd really like to see what it makes on a different roller, if it does make 207 (or near enough) then fair do's and I take back what I say!

Way to go Mike - for once we might be able to actually solve a TGTT dispute! :p

i have graphs for afr , torque , tractive effort , boost and graphs for before and after also on the hp and torque graph they cross at 5200 rpm and 200hp and 200lbft. Mike will take you up on that offer matey! I am not fussed if people believe me or not to be honist ,if you dont believe the rr results then ok thats fine....end of

Lots of people get around 180bhp on an rrfpr and fcd set up so I would damn well hope that with a power fc it would be 200 odd. For all the money a pfc costs I would hope that they do some good.
Maybe this just shows how much better a power fc is compared to an emanage

For f**ks sake children, can you all grow up please? As much as you may all know about cars, I doubt any of you know anything about how to tune one. Just because your car can't get that power, doesn't mean it can't be done.

If you're that convinced Greg's car can't put out the power stated, pay for him to come down to your own RR and compare it against yours. Then you'll have proof, and can comment appropriately.

Why are you so defensive?

Just for your information, it was a Subaru forum I was looking at, nothing to do with Starlets.

I am sincerely interested in how he managed to get that figure if it is indeed accurate assuming the engine is internally and cam stock.

I would want to know the same if it was a TD04L on a stock 4EFTE that produced 307hp on the rollers.

Why blindly take everything as gospol? Why not ask questions and educate yourself?

Thats what I am trying to do.

I don't know shit about CFM etc, but thats why I'd like someone to come a long and explain this and how the CT9 can theoretically produce this figure if so.

I'm only going by empirical evidance.

Anyone like to mess with numbers?

1 HP approx equals 1.45 CFM
1 CFM approx equals 0.0745 lb of air/min
0.108 Lb/min approx equals 1 hp
1 Meter cubed/sec = 35.314 CFS = 2118.867 CFM
1 KG/sec = 132 lbs/min approx equals 1771.812 CFM

power coversions:
1 PS = 0.9859 HP = 75 Kgf m/sec
1.3405 HP = 1 KW
1 HP = 746 watts

CFM =
L x rpm x VE x Pr
5660

L = engine in litres
RPM = Max engine speed
VE= Engine Volumetric Efficiency (90% for stock 4 valve)
Pr= pressure ratio

Pressure Ratio =

Bp + Ap
Ap

Bp = Boost Pressure (psi)
Ap = Air pressure (psi)

You need to find a compressor map for a CT9, I have never found a correct one.
