207bhp on stock turbo

lol@dave

the tuner is to respected to falsfie figures, it would be bad for him to do such a thing.

the power wasnt achieved at 0.9 bar, it was 15psi as stated in the video.

and yes as streetech said,

i would like the guy to go and get it rr'd again at a different set of rollers just to see if it really was a dodgy set of rollers.

the other option is that most tuners possibly like to tune on the side of caution, i dont know, i was just impressed

i agree with ricky. alot of tuners may be extra cautious when tuning a car. if they map a chavs car extra safely, it will produce a bit less power than its capable of, but when he runs it on some old fuel he finds in his dads garage and ups the boost by a few extra psi its more likely to survive. its a safety net for the tuner.

obviously not everyone is like that and some tuners realise that just take it a bit closer to the limit, therefore getting more power.

200bhp + is good on a hybrid ct9, let alone a stock ct9. the rollers may not be the most accurate, but even if they are 20bhp out then its still a good figure.

Wow! Awesome figure! But I wonder how long the turbo/engine will last...1) someone said its a high mileage engine 2) he must have tuned it rather lean to achieve those sort of figures with that setup, I mean come on! Must be on the limit! Either way, it's impressive!

the guy has a 100% record so far and refused to even contemplate tuning my last engine becuase of this lol,

also the guy races his starlet on the track so i will assume it would still be on the safe side.

Steve sadler is up there with Andy forrest and the likes. He uses DD rollers because there the most accurate "supposidly" He's getting 400+ out of stock internal SR20's lol. Im sure he'll be tuning a few more in the future so we'll all see his talent's unfold.

i think that 207bhp is fucking good on stock turbo !! mine made 181.8bhp and that was at 13psi am in middle off getting air filter relocater pipe, water sprayers for intercooler, earthing kit and some management and ive been told i should hit 200 plus ? thats stock turbo aswell !!!
when i had it r/r after they did print out they showed me few bits to get the car bhp up and one was water sprayers i coulnt believe it actually made 4 bhp more all these thigs make a difference it seems and he recomended getting the air filter moved asap cos that will better the engine to ! im hoping to see 200bhp mark + when i go back soon so guess my point is 207 bhp could be made ? only my opinion thou

and 207bhp 11.5 ish

come on it almost spot on afr

i dont see a prob just i dont think its std turbo

steve has people come from Holland to do mapping and has worked with datalogit to produce the black and beige boxes

p.s the man him self may come online ;)

Would be good if he did, would stop most people putting up stupid comments about tuning, when they're not tuners themselves. I doubt very much he'll reveal his tuning secrets on here, but at least he can be asked some questions. Be good to have someone with his tuning knowledge on the site.

im no pro but the graphs look dead on at the start were there crossing hp and torque but then they look like they dont cross, whats goin on there?

im not doubting the figure i just wanna know whats happening with the curves

yup, seen him map a few 400+ on stock internals on nistune board.
I was going to go the same route.

Hi it is my car and the figures are correct so stop bitchin and moaning , i am willing to do any rolling road day to prove this. It is not running lean or any other bollocks excuse, he has done it properly. The apexi fc is an awesome bit of kit and teamed with a tuner who knows his shit these results are possible! IT is a standard ct9 and this car gets hammered on track. I highly reccomend steve at FC tuning for anyone thinking of getting re-maps/mangement work.

When you going to let me have a play greg?

The car is very well built and is a credit to the owner.
If anyone is not happy with the results they can always race it and see.

Steve at FC Tuning may be the god of mapping/tuning and a very great person and I don't think anyone is saying anything bad towards HIM.

But I doubt the RR figure is correct! :p

Who cares anyway!? We all know the discrepancies between different RR here and even in different countries.
