It'll be interesting to see what i get, mine is a very simular spec to that plus a ported head and heat wrapped exhaust

pretty damn impressive. i think im going to take mine there to get mapped again after i have made a few tweaks and alterations to my current setup.

i did contact him previously and he was very helpful. also emailed me to ask how i was getting on when i didnt email him for a month or so. obviously he wants some business but he was never pushy about it.

would still like to see pixs of the turbo

x2 at 0.9 bar its pretty much impossible imo to get that, but who knows what turbo is really running.

Also with the Apexi ECU i thought you dont need a RRFPR anymore?

Also for a stock turbo to get them kinda figures will definately leave an affect on the turbo life.

Il see how Ricky Gets along & see what kinda figures he gets :)

Maybe it was a hybrid which they didnt know about.

All i know is Steve Sadler is the daddy, i know i wont go anywhere else to get my car mapped other than to him.

If this guy can get them figures on a stock turbo at 0.9 bar, i wonder what il get with my td04 hybrid at 0.9 bar!!!!!!

LOL, Dave stop being an idiot mate and calm down, he didnt make up the figure did he?!
There on a set of calibrated DD rollers and hes clearly mapped it well so it must be a hybrid of some kind or some other mods we dont know about.

I'm not knocking the guy I am sure he is a good tuner although there is only a certain amount you can do while mapping with such a limited setup i.e. low boost and a small turbo.

Really speaking the leaner you get it to a point the more power you will create because the intensity of the explosions is higher but it causes too much heat.

I'dd be very very suprised if on any respected rollers it would make even near 200bhp, especially at 0.9 bar.

I am perfectly calm Adam ;).

what are respected rollers if these are not so?

Ive seen plenty of cars on those rollers getting lower figures than expected.
Namely a standard ek9 getting something like 165bhp.

I have seen this car/engine up close, and raced it.
Its *greg* on this site. The figure is correct and the turbo is standard.
