well i have recenty had an amount of bad luck with my car,as the headgasket went i decided to upgrade it to a metal one... as my old headgasket hadnt burst away any where i had the engine cheaked and the head re faced and preasure tested.. proceded to fit the new headgasket with new headbolts...

i have found that i have lik on oily scum/deposits on my red cap....its almost like copper grease!...thought headgasket bt im nt loosing coolant and i have no scum on the oil cap!?? any advice as to wot it is?? cheers rep will b added!

jst fitted a new engine while doin this i decide to add a few extras eg mani decat front mounted air filter ect...b4 i changed the engine i would get 11psi 2nd to 5th gear, no problom this was with the hi/low still n place... after fitting the engine im only getting 5psi if im lucky in...

well i bought a decat pipe and im about to fit it i already have a upgraded mani and i was just wondering wot do i do with the lambda sensors..i nothicd that the is only 1 hole on the decat pipe but i have 2 lambda sensors??...do i jst leave them both disconnected??

looking for a 4e-fte engine in good working order....mainly after head and block, if engine is striped of turbo manis ect it does not matter....

i finishd my engine last nyte...it had a cooling problom which resulted in the stripping of the head, to the best of my knoledge and a few friends over the past 2months we have been sourcing parts and preping othes... i got the head fully reconditioned...skimed,oil seals,preasure tested...

i jst finishd a rebuild on my glanza..its running sound water temp is around 87 degrees but my rad fan isnt kicking in...i have removed the ac, is thr anyway of testing the fan to c if its working and is it jst me being parnoid!?? cheers lads!

could anybody help me find the tutorail for rebuilding a 4efte cylinder head...the one including the retensioning of the inlet cam as i cant find it and im about to start this l8r on 2day and would like jst to have it as a refrence if i get stuck cheers lads!

refitting head bolts....i just noticed that thr is five long and five short!? do the long bolts go in the inlet side or exhaust side of the head??? also...can i reuse the old head blots???....all are in good condition havnt bin run and have no cracks! cheers...

well ive been searching for a headgasket for awhile nw...having no luck, my local toyota dealer said they didnt want to know about it wonce the heard it was an import and none of my local motor factors can find 1....i have decide to go for an original toyota headgasket as i havnt the money for...
