yer i know i was expecting it to crack just didnt think it would be soo soon jus needed it to hold till i can get a td04 kit

Ill weld it if you can get it to cornwall, ill look to see how it could be braced as well...

yer i know but if the mani and decat were braced and i had an engine torque damper then would have lasted longer i suppose but hey thats life lol just hope the weld holds for long enough

Can't say I'm not surprised.

You can weld them, but they only crack again a week or so later and the welding process can throw shit down into the turbo. Best thing you can do is as Dave said, chuck it in the bin.

Not if its welded properly As for cracking again, it all depends on the material but you can usually brace them enough to stop regular cracking.

Mines been braced, so hope it lasts awhile - how long did you have it before it cracked mate?

agreed! its true they looked good (welding wise) but they where not braced & the material used was pretty thin.. so only a matter of time..

end of the day, u get what u pay for!

Autobahn manifolds...not very impressed!

Has anyone else had problems fitting these? fitted 2 now and had problems on each, problems are ;
Manifold had hole were not welded
both manifold faces not flat causin them 2blow
on one had 2modify the compressor housin 2make the turbo bolt up correctly
not fittin correctly

Exactly, everyone who bought the manifold did it for the reason of cost...you can't dismiss obvious results of a cheap manifold

mine blows and its tight cant tighten up anymore.they are shit just waiting to get my emanage now n then i can put ny tdo4 setup on yippeeeee
