after looking at his ebay site i will assume he is having majour issues at the moment, he has pretty much bugger all for starlets for sale, and seems to be selling all sorts of stuff to get some money in.

so i would say there is some truth in his email, but if he knew he couldnt devote any time to the toytuning concern, then maybe he should have closed the shop and not took anybodys money.

What a load of balls.

Not enough time to fulfil orders etc is bullshit.

I run a business and there isn't such a thing as too busy.

There's nothing to packing product and leaving it for the courier/post office to collect I know from experience.

He is a lazy scammer.

As said above communication is simple in this day and age, there's no excuse

typical. forwarding some sob story to all the people to try and make them feel sorry for him. actually its quite pathetic. the members on here have been so patient with toby. even a simple PM or text explaining what a tough time hes apparently having would have bought him the time and kept his rep. but no he chose to just take the money and screw every1 over. its already been proved he has been online and messaged dylan etc. hes seen all the PMs over the last few months and the constant emails from unhappy customers.

and 2bh if he take my money i personally cudnt give a shit whats happening in his life, i expect either my parts, a refund, or at least some explanation then i would give him the time to sort himself out.

like already said, there is no excuse whatsoever.

i know many are quite pissed with him..but i'd just like to add that toby owed us quite a bit of money which was due last september(2008)...after repeated emails etc he did stick to his promise and settle in april of this year. it took a long while..but he did it. so i'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt. i do wish his communication was better...atleast if he was in regular touch with people then i feel everyone would feel a bit better even though parts/refunds were to get delayed because atleast you're updated on whats going on.

i hope he manages to come back because toytuning was comming up with some very cool parts for the EP's. just my 2c's!

Benefit of the doubt? There are people waiting on parts for MONTHS. Some without any form of communication.

OK, he has sorted some people out and paid you but what about the others!?

He said he did dispatch mine 2 months ago. I haven't recieved. I have actually spoken to the family lawyer and they are willing to proceed if I want to.

I just want my money back. It's only like 22 pound or summit.

i emailed toby at 10.30 last night through his website, and i had a reply at 1.40 am.

i'm not excusing toby, and i can assure you toby isnt excusing himself either, but he assures me he is trying to sort everybody out, hence why he is selling his cars etc etc,

anyway ..................................................

emailed toby back @ 9.22 this morning, and he replied to me at 10.57 this morning,

so he should be replying to everyone else aswell.

I have nothing against Toby except he has done a vanishing act on members. Since banning him and Martina, having his ad removed from pistonheads and putting a notice up on our front page it appears he has now taken notice and has sent a standard mail to people who he has been ignoring for a long time - at least he has made some contact. Something tells me had his name not appeared on the front page of our website everyone who is owed parts/money would still not have heard from him.

Toby should keep the sympathy and support gathering to a minimum and concentrate on doing something meaningful like getting people what they are owed.

he does acknowledge he has done wrong though.

Are you waiting on refund/parts? if so did he mention about them?

If he has contacted most people, he has done it in all of 24 hours which just outlines even more how easy it is to respond to all the emails he gets sent.
And demonstrates what a load of rubbish all his excuses are.
I hope he sorts all the people out he owes money/parts, ye he could get back on track for a month or 2 but he's just as likely to cease all communication for another 3 months after that.

I would ignore the stench of Toby's ball licking as I think he feels like he has been pushed into a corner and had to at least do something to ease the stress that he is feeling with so much talk of what he has done. Until people receive their money or products then talk is cheap.

whats more then likly is the buisness grew to fast for him but he didsnt wanna admit that he wasnt coping therefore just fobbing ppl of but has now prob relised that we wouldnt care and is tryin to sort it out oviously his rep has gone to pot but he will just have to build it back upp
