mate the same thing hapeend last year to out in my swift gti driving a bit fast (just fitted cams and a racing chip so had to test it out) but any way i was going down a duel and over took some car and as i got to the bottom a foucs was up my ass so when around the round about to go back to find out who it was and all they did was stay behind but up my ass so i drop down gear and when off and went around a bid round about 6 times lost them and parked in a car park tem mins late get a call from my mum the police are here i didnt go back but they said that they could not catch me so could do anything and they were under cover no light on there cars so they cant done anything

ok some real facts from an ex traffic cop (mrs dad is ex cop) they have as much power off duty as on! Its down to them to act on things when not on duty. They cant take the car but can caution or even arrest you. The car could be taken if they stand as a witness as they saw what you did. Best to admit what you did and show remorse! Or they will punish you to teach you a leason mate.

x 2 mate, 1 of my friends had this tried on him last week for doing drifts in the snow

They went to my mates house and said we will be coming for your car on sunday, they turned up and nothing happened. Just scare methods mate.

They have no evidence of anything so they have no grounds to charge you with anything.


But 110+ in the ice and snow you obviously dont care enough for your own life let alone your car/licence.

I doubt they can take your car based on what you have said. More a scare tactic then anything I would imagine

Regardless of what he was doing I find it very very strange that they called at 1:30am! That has to be some sort of harassment.

I'd say 90% of us on here have seen 100+ more than once when it wasn't on track.

nope, i got caught, pissing about in my xsi in an empty public carpark, and the police turned up at 2am to lift my car, had my mates company come and lift my car from my door, i was supposed to pay £150 plus storage charge at the lockup for the car, luckily i never paid.

that was for overtaking some1, and them puttin in a statement. in the end i got a CD for it, on one persons statement.

if the cops want to get you or your car, believe me. they will take them.

oh, and it was section 59 i lost my car to.

Yes true i remember this. Im honestly shocked you lost your licence on that persons statement. The police can come to your door at any time they wish.

one of my mates cousins, knows a guy who once met a guy in the toilets at a concert who did exactly what you did, exact same situation, maybe even in your car before you bought it, (thats how identical the situation was) and they turned up at 3.15am and shot him dead.

i hope justice is served and you either get shot or deported.

Well my mates brother deals in cars, so a friend of mine had been working on this 33 gtr he had just got, on the way back home down the duels, he pulled up next to me, smiled and droped a gear, i did to chasing him.


He pulled into the fast lane as there was a car in the slow lane, (a zafira, WITCH WAS THE COPPERS), Went past them pretty fast! 70mph road
we were doing 110+, They pulled next to my friend at the lights and they we will be seeing you later!

so they got my plate, and turned up at half past fucking 1!! they didnt see me driving tho, don't no what i look like ect!.

hopefully they are real coppers and they take you and the other fella off the road before you kill someone. Driving at those speeds at any time is a bit stupid but with the weather we are having at the moment its plain stupid.

Fair play to the copper for following up on it and trying to keep the roads safe for the rest of us.
