Roads where i live were pretty dry last night, so it wasnt as if it was in the snow/ice,
The road where it happend was dead, till near the end where this car was, i was slowing down while going past.
And yeah it was silly of me but at the time you don't think, i was expecting negitive comments, yea i was "twat, idiot,dickhead," but getting shot phil? ha
But im very certain that most of you on here have gone over 100+ not on track, And the roads are no where near as bad, as you N.I lads ect

Ok dude il admit i was hiting nearly 190mph the other week but it was the German autobahn where it was legal. Never did anywhere near what you were doing on irish roads. Iv been ten ir fifteen mph too fast but dude all we are saying is take the punishment. You deserve it if you got caught for that kind of driving. Never called you a dickhead or anything like that. we are all just saying If your guilty be the bigger man and admit it if the police are after you

as i said lads iv spoken to a former copper who has said if they want to they will do you fro dd cant as was said do you for speeding theres no proof but i they want to do you they will and they will both stand as witnesess in court, your best bet lad is if they come back or summons you to court then show remorse and own up they will not punish you if it looks like you have learned from it. say you didnt do it and try and wiggle out and you will get taught a leason!

ahh after reading through this thread and i can honestly say tis fierce tense...
although in each and everyones own way they are just being real with you and giving thier somewhat very honest opinions,which is good and you most be grateful for....
Imo take the jist of what has been said positively and take a note out of everyones books and be honest also when it comes to speaking with the police..as Derek just said you prod will just get a slap on the wrists....learn from mistakes and you will be just fine.....

i got banned for a CD from overtaking a civilian, no copper watching, two civilian statements from the same car, they came and lifted my car, and i got banned for 6 months because of it.

they are the same horrible bastards that have to go to peoples houses and break the news to families when bodies are being scraped off the road. Perhaps they thought it prudent to visit the house before he has killed himself or someone else.
I'm sorry,i can see what eveyone says, it was a silly thing to do, but ffs, are most people on here trying to say they are christian drivers??? lol i'm not making any accusations but for the amount of people to just jump on the bandwagon and slate the guy is wrong, we don't buy turbo's for the a to b drive, and if somebody says they did, its a damn big waste of a good car!! We all make mistakes, the guy has admitted what he did and says it was wrong, but i would say at some point, we have all been guilty, 95% of us have just got away with it.

there is a time and a place. The worst winter conditions in years on public roads at 100+mph is not the time or the place.
I am no angel when I drive but if I was caught in the height of winter doing 100+mph racing on a public road then I would suck it up and take whatever was dished out to me.

if u were driving so hard ive no doubt they would of followed u and delt with u there and then... seems supicious 2 me.. call the police if they arrive again 2 make sure.. if its ligit take it as is
yes your totally right, if the weather conditions were really bad then it would be a stupid thing to do, on snow/ice. But if he has been honest in what he did wrong i would believe him when he says it was dry, cause in my area some parts are very deep in snow but others are totally clear and dry with no snow in sight. Anyway, how many people out there would drive or could even get there car above 100mph in snow/ice???????????????
