My own opinion, is that if you can't read, write or spell English properly, then you're not worth my time!
Personally, as an educated human being, I won't lower myself to use text lingo (even on a mobile), and give up on PM's, emails and threads where it's used. My own opinion, is that if you can't read, write or spell English properly, then you're not worth my time!
Even so your efforts are far, far better than many who should know better. In Barbados, if left alone we speak a type of broken English, call it Bajan dialect. This is the reason why if you listen to native islanders (Barbados, Jamaica etc.) talk to each other, although it's meant to be English, you won't understand a thing that's being said...kinda like the pikey Brad Pitt plays on Snatch. We are also drilled into using the "Queen's English" from primary school, so by listening to how a Bajan speaks, you can tell who have taken their schooling seriously and who hasn't. Most of the times, we spell words the same way we speak them, so it shows in the written words also. It's something you can't easily fake, but mastering proper communications skill in any language gives you an edge when trying to better yourself in our society.depands what nationality are you! im maltese and you cant expect me to write or spell english perfectly! we learn english at school by force.. but im not 100% there
