i recently fiited an engine to my glanza and it wont fire up. the engine management light is on but when i jump it there are no codes. it just flashed every 0.25 seconds. why is this? cheers

just done a 5efte swap into my glanza. it started up the first time i tried it but it hasnt started since. it turns over just doesnt start. any clues? cheers

ive done a 5efte swap and where the oil filter goes is slightly different. i have used my 4efte sump so i have that oil line fine. but see the little metal oil line that also connects onto the bottom of the turbo were does the other end of that go? it would normally go to the bit beside the oil...

can you weld a crack on a block ? its a 5efe block. its cracked because the gearbox wasnt allined up properly and the blot pulling the block onto the gearbox has cracked it.

my bottom end went so i got a new one. it was a manual box on it before but i need to put my auto box on it. what will i need to take of the block and put on the manual block? cheers

just put a new bottom end on my car.went to start it there but the starter just clicked . i tryed turning it over at the crank and it wont budge. it turned over by hand fine before i put it in the car. is there a sensor that stops it from turning that i could have missed out? cheers

just done a 5efte conversion but the only thing i have noticed is the oil line for the turbo that comes off the bit beside the oil filter is different on the 5efe block to the 4efte block does anyone no what to do ? cheers

im doin a 5efte conversion. what headgasket should i use? is it possible to use the 5efe one or will it need to be a 4efte one ? cheers aidan

im away to get a 5efe tommoro as my bottom end is gone on my 4efte. my glanza is a automatic. will the gearbox fit onto the 5efe block ok ? what should i look out for cheers aidan

which way do they go? the grove inside the cap for the bearing to sit in, is that ment to go closest to the timing belt or the other side cheers

need to order big end bearings from toyota, when i spoke to the guy he said they are numbered 1,2,3 for each different set. how do you tell which are yours? i gave him my chassis number but he said that didnt help , mine is a n reg imported glanza v . cheers aidan
