Oil advice and recommendations here

Hi oilman,

Iv just fitted a kaaz clutch type LSD into my gearbox, which gear oil would you recoommend me going for?

Any mods: emange, 330cc injectors, hybrid turbo, running 1.1boost,1.5 lsd,decat, mani, and hks silent power,hks fule rail,fuel reg,8.0 ht leads,

Type of use: Road use, getting from A - B/hard use

What do you want a recommendation for? Engine, Gearbox etc?: engine and gearbox with lsd.

Hi mate, sorry if this seems like a bit of a pointless post but I figure it's best to ask when messing about with oil.

Make: Toyota
Model: Starlet Glanza V EP91
Year: 1996
Engine size/type: 1.3 turbo

Any mods: Catback, airfilter. In 3 weeks i will also have decat, mani and front mount intercooler. Approx 160BHP.

Type of use (road/track): Fast road, weekend car often take it for drives in the country. Not many miles on motorway and occasionally used for driving locally to friends.

Additional info (max oil temps, current oil used): Currently using Royal Purple 10W30 Fully Synth.

I'm thinking:
Silkolene PRO S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic Oil

Am I correct?

do you have a good revieews on valvoline durablend 10-40w?
my engine is 1.3 cc boosting @ 12 psi daily
usage is for autocross and street

5w-40 silkolene pro s is ideal, if you want the best then this is it.

Its just a semi synthetic, its ok for one of those.

If you are competing the car then I would really look at a synthetic.
