I think the point was that its not 2.4 as in ure previous post, dont think he meant it to be fussy :)

no he meant 2.44 bar,

1 bar of that is atmospheric, the 1.44 is the ammount of positive boost the map sensor can see, any more than this and you'll need another map sensor

i been looking into these, but not quite sure on how to get round the TPS sensor, being that the auto's had the variable ones and are hard to get hold of.

I'm working on that now see how it gos the price is a idea hope it works out for that cos it sure would be good if u have looked in to them I'm sure u know how much stuff u can add on to them it's nuts tbh loada stuff for the money

well advantages of using it say over other ecus

i have a pfc,gcc waiting to get setup what sort of benifits would i have over the pfc

is it easy to install do i have to hardwire it into the loom

it learns as its drove but will it be as accurate as say a tuner doing it?

It should have o2 feed back but it's far from self learning , is it a hks PFC with gcc u have or is it a apexi PFC ? This ecu will plug in no wire needed u will have to run a pipe t the map sensor that's about it

Ps u can get hold if those tps sensors pritty handy but u might need to make up a plug

yeah man sorry i have the pfc fcon. the one i have has the harness so it was just plug and play anyway also have the boost map sensor feed there anyway.

i havent tried the fcon yet so i am unaware of the gains ect.. i didnt want o go down the emanage route or fork out 1000s for a vpro ect.. i wanted something i could nearly tune myself as with the car i want to try and do most of it myself if you know what i mean

anyway as said before what sort of benifits whould i have over the fcon such as tighter adjustments ect maybe? and so on

also im not sure if you can but i have been looking for ages for camp equvalant for the car and have a readout on a screen can this ecu use this say like the haltec system does but not using the special cluster? its just a taught

Well ur PFC have 9 fuel maps then the gcc gives u a few set rpm + or- no timing ajustments at all , the kit I'm looking at gives u 16x16 boxs to ajust for the fuel map 12x12 map on the timing , idle ajustments , fuel cut were u want it , ajustable rev limtter fuel or spark or both , target afr if u have a wideband , knock input , boost control at a small cost , launch control at a small cost , out puts for water injection if needed , shift lights if needed , and more u can change to coil packs if u needed the list gos on and on tbh and with a base map on thr should be fun for the diy tuner to tune

cool so it does nearly everything then i am very interested in this kit man i was planning when the car was all finished to come up and get it rr but sure if your selling these with the attachments i mite just sell the fcon, go with your and make a day of it keep me informed anyway bud

i wouldnt mind i only bought a evc i will just throw it up on the for sale thread ha

yeah very nice its what im after i am assuming that it mite have the capability's then for this? aswell does all them extra sensors come with it/buy them or does it work of the loom for readings?

still man nice bit of kit and i hope it works out well putting it through its paces will take a while

there is no other sensors it will use all the stock sensors and yeah it should work with that screen

yeah i was very close to swapping the apexi pfc for one.

i was gonna use the oil pump from a california emmision paseo to use the crankshaft position sensor, and then find an auto tps, and use a ford ignition coil, with some custom leads to remove the distributor.

but then i thought it's a bit much for my needs at the moment lol

my mate is currently building one for hid mini,

the beauty of the mega squirt is how customisable it is,

yeah its unreal for the money any ways see how it gos with the first one and how low we can make the price

Not tested yet chris...but till now it is very easy to assemply the unit by yourshelf and loads of info on msefi.com
My friend runs one in his 106 turbo and made 508whp 22whp more than his haltech for the same boost at the same day at the same dyno.
I just have the ms-2 pcb 3 and need to finish other things to my car before installing a standalone.
If you need any base map for them i can share some i have on my other pc with you.
